Character Intro
Saphie here, player of Hiccup and Kon-El, announcing that for next podpop I'm bringing in Sherlock Holmes from the BBC's Sherlock, who's going to be up in this joint shooting the walls out of boredom and deducing junk about the mud on people's shoes.
Things that are important to know about Sherlock:
1. He's a jerk-covered jerk with jerk filling, on a stick, the kind you can get deep-fried in jerk at the jerk fair and drizzled in jerk. Please please understand that anything nasty or hateful he says isn't personal on his player's part and let me know if you'd rather not have to deal with any obnoxiousness. He doesn't spew abuse 24/7, and he'll probably be doing a lot of growing towards being a better person in the game, but he can be very callous and hurtful, so if that becomes unfun to play with, let me know. I know not everyone likes to play with characters that are jerks, so we can figure out ways of making our characters play nice or I can avoid tagging during times characters are vulnerable or avoid tagging altogether.
2. He's very, very observant. Rather than doing a permissions post, since players come and go, I'm going to be contacting a lot of the players I thread with to ask what he can pick up on about your characters. In general, if you want to have something be picked up to be a point of conversation, throw me some physical description in your posts and what the little details might mean, since I'm not as smart as the character. That said, while he will notice a lot of visible details, he might get some inferences about what they mean wrong, so please don't take that as me asking you to have him know all your characters' secrets. In fact, sometimes people can plant things on themselves to make him think the wrong things about them. Evil characters, play with that all you like.
3. I've seen a lot of complaints about Sherlock players cropping up...well, everywhere, usually to the tune that the players try to make him be right all the time. First of all, I just want people to know that even though he's a grandstanding, show-offey narcissist that thinks he's infallible, I love having him eat a big, steaming dish of humble pie whenever possible. And basically, I want to avoid those hurdles in general, so if anything at all gets annoying about how he's played, please hit his HMD.
Uuuuh, that's all. Laterz!
PS. LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL FACE. YOU WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF IT I GUARANTEE IT

I like that you've cleared all that up :) I personally haven't had any problems with Sherlock muses but I can see why/how some people could get annoyed. I'll make certain that I pay more attention to detail when they thread (because they will. I will make certain of it :D)

Looking forward to threading with you! I've wanted to hit Barbara for a while now actually but I sort of wanted to have a grown up character to socialize with the other grown up characters.

And lol, that is my favorite Sherlock gif. Well, that and this:

Something like....a basket of kittens that have rainbow lasers coming out of their eyes and shoot memes from their paws.

What's that saying? If you can think it up, someone will have put it on the internet? Or was a comment about porn? I have the worst memory.
But you get the idea.

You're not a proper detective without a hat.

Aaaaa I want to throw Terry at him, but that could be disastrous. And also hilarious.
