This is Col, your Samus and Mei Ling player, bringing in not one but two more characters for you lovely folks at trans_9 (I just love you guys so much I couldn't stop myself from apping). I have to say the balance out my roster quite well and bring some extra testosterone to the ship.



The first is one Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr., and he is quite possibly the only character I play that could ever be more manly than Samus. He's basically the epitome of a badass normal, a complete academic dork, and a really, really good looking guy all rolled up into one. And he has a neat hat. He'll be joining you from right after Last Crusade.



The second is Agent J from Men in Black (the movie because... I've never even seen the animated series). Although he's not exactly a rookie anymore, he'll still flail from time to time, but will prove useful in some fights and even in some alien diplomatic relations if that comes up. Also I promise that he won't flash away half your character's memory with his neuralyzer aka "flashy thing." Jay is from right after the first movie.

Well, I met a few of you at chat last night, but I ought to make an official introduction now that I'm able to join all these other groups!

I'm Pedro, and this is my first character in this RP. You can tell its Katara from Avatar: the Last Airbender fame. She can bend anything with water (obviously) and is also able to heal with her abilities. She will also be super motherly to the people she cares about and will beat down people that deserve it! I'm pulling her after the end of the Avatar series, so all her abilities should still be intact.

My email is elpedrososama@yahoo.com, and my AIM is the same name (minus the yahoo and @, of course). I'm usually on frequently, although later this afternoon I will be at work, so don't really expect anything from 3 till 9:30ish.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is John Connor.

Not the John Connor that Marcus Wright already met who could, possibly, be a doppelganger for this ship's Batman. No, this is the John Connor who went from 1999 to 2007, just to have to deal with all sorts of insanity (like his mother slowly losing her mind, an uncle that didn't know he was his uncle - and who died, joy of all joys, a 'normal' girlfriend who wasn't normal at all and ended up getting killed, his only real 'friend' being a machine and getting herself torn all up and her chip sent to the future, plus running from all the Federal agents and Terminators ever) and just ended up in 2027 to find no one knew who the hell he was and everyone he cared about alive but...not knowing who the hell he was. Fun, fun.

He was there all of five minutes before he pops on August 1st. It really hasn't been his week.

For those of you not familiar with the TSCC canon, have a wiki. Be warned: there is quite a lot of time travel and alternates in this series, so at least John will be more familiar with the mulitverse concept than, say, my OC Diana.

Expect to see a lot of sullen, antisocial behavior while John tries to not have his second serious emotional break in the last few months. Also possibly o.O-ing at Marcus and bickering all over the ship with Allison, who he's known all of five minutes but it's...well, complicated.

More or less, I apped him to make Marcus miserable.

Hola and hello! I am Karra, and I am bringing in Allison Young, a character in all of two episodes of TSCC and technically was two different versions of one character, so that was quite a feat of adaptation to hurdle over. If you are not familiar with her, have a wiki.  So I'm basically bringing in a girl who has known John Connor all of five seconds, and is suddenly dropped somewhere else entirely with this guy who probably keeps looking at her weird. 

And is weird.

Entry Tags

This is just a little reminder to everyone to please (really pleeeeeeeeeease) edit the Entry Tags for each thread that you post your character into. We use this as a tool to track activity of both muns and pups which in turns helps us figure out who may be having some troubles or need help, etc. and having accurate, up-to-date Entry Tags really helps us with that.

We will continue to periodically poke people on this--because, let's face it, even the mods forget to edit the Entry Tags sometimes--but when we do, if you could do a quick double check to make sure you've got all your characters' Entry Tags up-to-date, that would be awesome. That way the mods don't have to go through and add them in later, which can be a pretty arduous task.

Alex is hungry

Psycho Silver here. This is Alex Mercer, the merciless ant-hero/anti-villain from the game [PROTOTYPE]. I have plans for him.

Alex isn't someone who sits around and waits for the answers, he goes and finds them. Usually violently. He also has the ability to consume people and assimilate they're memories and knowledge. I seriously doubt Stacy or anyone is going to let Alex consume them/their characters.

So instead, Alex will try to go straight for the source; Stacy's core. Since the ship is a living organism, Alex can consume parts of it, and the one thing on his mind is going to be finding the core of the ship, consume it, and find out the truth behind why everyone is on the ship.

Anyone who has played [PROTOTYPE] knows how powerful and lethal Alex is, and he is most definitely going to put up a fight once he pops. He has a wide variety of shapeshifting powers, including claws, blades, hammers, tendrils, and disguises.

Alex is almost pure chaotic neutral, and don't expect him to be too chummy. He's not human, but a sentient virus that reanimated the body of the real Alex Mercer. While at first he'll be a complete antisocial grump, he'll slowly start to adjust to the people around him and care for them. He's still going to try and consume Stacy's core, but he'll be doing because he thinks he'll be helping everyone on the ship.

By the way, I know there's a big rivalry between inFamous and [PROTOTYPE], and I think it would be cool if someone else apped Cole McGrath.

Hiatusey things.

This totally sucks and we hate having to do it, but as of right now, consider Superman, Ben Grimm, and Dr. McCoy hiatused, in GLaDOS's care, and thus forgotten by the crew. All the crews' digital records will have been altered to have other people commenting with their comments, or they'd have certain comments missing, to the knowledge of the crew. They'll be remembered if Shawn comes back to pick them up again.

We have, however, figured out how to rework the plot to move certain stuff later, so Shawn has a chance to participate or at least weigh in on whether he wants to participate or not. This means the ominous "Lirath" plot is going to occur much later in the game, and we've rearranged the order of a few plots.
