I know we haven't done much in a while, partially because I wasn't sure what kind of IC authority Trudy had, but now that we've just had another podpop I think we need to take stock of who's still flying combat on Stacy.

Post here if you are involved in Starfighter Command, and let me know which squadron your character is in. Right now we're in an interesting limbo state because it has been so long since we've done anything that we need to take stock of who we have again.

Axl is still piloting with the Rogues.

And Wes Janson is involved with the Rogues and has been since last podpop, but I have done like nothing with it IC because I wasn't quite sure what's going on. I think the chances are likely that Wedge would've stuck some kind of rank on him because he was one of the original Rogues in canon, was Wedge's second-in-command with the Wraiths, blah blah experience yada yada always Wedge's bitch. But I'm not sure exactly how that's working and I don't want to make assumptions.

I believe we have Cowabunga for the Blade Squadron? If that's still a definite.

I think we have a tentative Setsuna and Duo, too...? I am actually drafting an initial email for the sure Blades, SO IF COWABUNGA SETSUNA OR DUO SEE THIS can you drop me your e-mails if you plan on hoppin into this? Funk and I talked some stuff over the other day so I wanted to run it by everyone who was in.

I'm going to assume that the pilots have been training in the Sensoriums, tinkering with upgrades to their ships, and generally lounging around. There's not much for them to do if the Ohm aren't attacking RIGHT THIS INSTANT, but most of their pilot time has been taken up by squadron and cross-squadron training.

As far as promotions go, I'm pretty sure that for each squadron we wanted a commander and two lieutenants if possible, but IC promotions are being handled by Milo so you might want to ask him about that.

I figured they'd be there. Didn't know about Cowabunga but I'll add him to the list.

One more thing - Blade Squadron apparently doesn't have a commander. I think at some point there were noises about promoting Kira to that post, but I'm not sure if that ever happened or if someone else said they wanted it?

Yeah, that's about what I was assuming was going on with training.

I figure Wes has been around, I just don't know in what capacity since that's Milo's call.

Rtas is still up for Captain with the Quarter if that's still happening. If that goes ahead would be interested in having him help with general command of the squadrons.

Yeah I think the Quarter falls under general command, and I think Wash will be piloting that. Rtas being captain of the Quarter works as far as I'm concerned, which means he'd get a shiny military rank of Captain to go along with it.

I'm not exactly sure how we're doing the ranking things for them all yet, but I know thus far Kira and Yzak are commanders because there are two tentative teams-- but above THAT Kira is the Blade Leader, yes.

Milo started to handle promotions, but I think there was some confusion on how this would all be handled OOCly. I'm going to go ahead and say Yzak has Lieutenant stripes, so that way he'd have some kind of authority within the squadron and Kira's rank is Commander. If that is okay with you guys, that is.

(This puts Yzak at Trudy's rank. She is not sure how she feels about this XD)

That works for me, would be good to have something more military that Rtas can get into. Sounds like they've got a good pilot for the job as well, Military rank of Captain certainly has its benefits as well.

Since Lash is going to be a Ranger, I assume she will ask for her leave after it happens.

I have to double check to see if Sam's being allowed to have his omnicomm outside of the Brig right now so he can actually check in, but he is still involved with Rogue Squadron!

Angie Spica/The Engineer is one of general pilots/mechanical folks. I vaguely remember her being assigned to one of the shuttles, but I can't remember what one now.

I think at one point Fiver had Jamie down as a gunner for one of the transport ships. Prior that he was in the Rogues, though, and he hasn't been reassigned ICly yet, far as I know. (Unless all the reorganization has been handwaved and I just...slept through it or something.)

Well if you still want him as a pilot, I'll put him down - Rogue Squadron is a tad shorthanded so it wouldn't make sense to transfer him out.

You can put Setsuna there for the time being, though he's not officially a member yet. Jesus is still busy judging you.

But if mobile suits need to be deployed, he'll be there. He just... won't listen to Yzak or Kira. Or damn near anyone else for that matter.
