Plot Discussion: Percival Phoenix
Okay, so I think we're pretty much good with the player lineup for this plot. So far, we've got:
Rescue Team
Chase
Howard
Jaime
Brainwashed
Anwei (Blood Queen, Lash's lieutenant)

Sakura (Percival Phoenix's girlfriend)
Zouichi (Nuon, Lash's lieutenant)

I'm going to try and make this three separate plot posts, as detailed below, with a number of subthreads for different events. Comments/suggestions/questions are welcome. Also, the big question: When do we want to do this plot? As I said, I'm planning for it to be about a week. I'm pretty much free throughout June. Please let me know when you are free if you signed up. Thanks!
ETA: It looks like we're only waiting on one person, and otherwise everyone's fine with this weekend. So, let's plan to start Saturday. I'll be hanging out in the chatroom missionchat for most of the day for on-the-fly plotting purposes.
FIRST POST
Mission landing (First away team): After receiving their mission briefing, the first away team heads toward the planet (Saturnus IV), does re-entry (a novel experience for Sakura, probably), then lands. In a desert wasteland, with no sign of anyone who might have created the signal they’re investigating. As they search for the source (most likely complaining about the dust and debris), they start picking up weird readings. Suddenly, everything starts shifting and distorting and just before they’re all knocked unconscious, they manage to send a distress call to the ship...
The rescue (Rescue team, Anwei, Zouichi, Sakura): Meanwhile, on the ship, the rescue team is assembled (amidst much complaining, no doubt) and dispatched to the planet. Upon landing, however, they realize that – hey, wasn’t this supposed to be a deserted wasteland? No, because now it looks like... idk, a big alien rock/moonscape, with mountains and stormclouds in the distance, and ruins everywhere.
The rescue team finds Sakura, but she’s no help – in fact, the only thing she does is scream at opportune moments. Then, Anwei and Zouichi appear! Clearly they are here to help, right?
...No. They are most definitely not. In fact, they attack the rescue team, who find that all of a sudden, their powers are almost useless! And they kidnap Sakura! (*scream*) ...before disappearing.
Ill tidings (everyone)
Reeling from their defeat, the rescue team is confronted by (either Lash or a holoprojector with Lash’s image), who wants to rub their faces in their defeat, but HEY WTF, YOU GUYS AREN’T PERCIVAL PHOENIX. But Percival does appear, and he spends a minute or two flailing at Lash, who mentions the DEATH RAY that will be used to DESTROY EARTH wait maybe that was supposed to be secret?
Clearly the thing is to head to Lash's Evil Lair (which is honestly really obvious in the background because of all the thunder and lightning). The rescue team marches off, either leaving the hero to do his own thing, or the hero runs off by himself to save Sakura.
SECOND POST
Meanwhile! (Lash, Anwei, Zouichi, Sakura)
Back at the evil lair, Anwei and Zouichi are bickering over who’s the better loyal minion until Lash yells at them. They are always arguing! They have not captured Percival Phoenix yet! They are not turning in their TPS reports! She orders Anwei to take care of the hero and his new little friends before they get to the evil lair – after all, it’s Anwei’s territory they’ll be passing through on their way there. She leaves, but Zouichi resolves to follow her and capture them for himself. Sakura struggles to free herself, but is stopped by Lash. Bwahaha!
Spell of the Blood Queen! (Anwei, Zouichi, rescue team)
The rescue team is heading toward the castle, complaining all the while as they trudge through strangely Egyptian themed ruins. Suddenly, Anwei appears, siccing her robo-jackals on the team! Which, okay, they can more or less handle. Zouichi shows up, having tracked her to the location of the heroes, unleashing the cardboard robots! Okay, so that PLUS the jackals is getting a little much for the team to handle. The NPC hero shows up to save the day, with his trusty Atomizer Gun and/or his ability to capitalize on Anwei and Zouichi’s propensity to constantly argue with each other. The heroes escape with Percival, and end up deciding to work with him.
The Turning Tide of Battle (Everyone)
Lash curses Anwei and Zouichi mightily for their failure to defeat the heroes while Sakura continues her attempts to escape and snarking. Cowed, Lash’s lieutenants return to the battlefield. Clearly the solution to their previous defeat is mummies! And a giant mechanical spider! This time, however, the rescue team is ready, splitting the enemies up in a labyrinth to deal with them separately. Anwei and Zouichi are returned to normal (pheromones and friendship speeches are involved), and together, they plot to infiltrate the evil lair and defeat Lash, who reveals that her preparations are nearly complete.
THIRD POST
The Climactic Battle (everyone)
Anwei uses her pheromones to coax a guard into relaxing his watch, while Zouichi leads them into the evil lair. But once they reach the room with the death ray, Lash reveals that she was waiting for them all along, and has Sakura! …who actually escapes from her bonds, forcing Lash to unleash a rubbery giant suit monster and fight the heroes with SCIENCE. Everyone works together to defeat the rubbery monster, but naturally the person to destroy the death ray is Percival, who vaporizes it with a well-placed shot of the Atomizer gun.
