Soren's already teaching someone magic, but I don't think any of my magical dudes are suited to take shifts babysitting [magical artifact], Soren because he thinks it's beneath him and probably wouldn't know how to do maintenance/taming anyway and Tarrant because he thinks it's beneath him and he's a jerk.

I do think the various magical people could do with some familiarity with each other, but I don't think having some duty to handwave on a day to day basis would really help with that.
