MedBay also theoretically operates on shifts, if the general feeling I have is "they show up, leave, or never leave" depending. That there's no internal consistence for telling time on ship feels difficult to work with, without an indication of how much of anything has gone on. Do hourglasses not work here too? It doesn't mean they know the proper amount of time passing, but how are these characters creating any sense of normalcy in circadian rhythms, etc? Or should we be playing up that those who need sleep and the rest are more wonky because there's no set schedule of day/night, no hour rotation?
