We're here! We're finally here!
WELCOME TO THE FUTURE!
...well, more like welcome to Dreamwidth.
As of today, we have officially moved to Dreamwidth! Our wiki is (mostly) up to date with links to DW rather than LJ. There will be an update soon with new wiki links once Pixle irons that out, but there will be another announcement when it happens so no worries. All the comms have been imported as of right now as well. You can still finish up logs on LJ if you'd like; we'll run the importer a few more times over the next couple of months to catch those tags. But, as of this day, January 31, 2012, all new logs/posts are to be made on DW!
THE COMMUNITIES
If you have not done so, make sure you JOIN and SUBSCRIBE to the follow communities:
trans_9 (here to join & subscribe)
trans_pilgrims (here to join & subscribe)
trans_channel (here to join & subscribe)
insertmeathere (here to join & subscribe)
PLAYER INFORMATION
Once you are accepted, make sure all the information in the Contact Info is correct and up-to-date.
OLD LOGS
Regarding old logs, you are allowed to both continue them on Livejournal OR finish the log on Dreamwidth. MAKE SURE EVERYONE IN THE LOG (Or that part of the log involved) IS OKAY WITH THIS. Please post here for everyone to get coordinated.
LOG FORMAT CHANGE (OPTIONAL)
You do not have to do this, but we've set up a new log format for those who want to use it that might make it easier for anyone reading/skimming the community:
Who: (Character and who else. OPEN of it's open)
Where: (Where the action takes place)
Summary: (This is like a line or two so anyone quickly passing by can know what the log is about. It also helps Pixle with the link log summary)
Warnings: (If any)
[Log goes here under a cut]
Feel free to use it if you wish!
MERGE YOUR ACCOUNTS
This is not necessary, but if you so desire, you can merge your DW Open ID with your Dreamwidth account. For example, Lash's was merged with anything that was things-go-boom.livejournal.com from the importer. This, for the most part keeps the icons from your old account if you have them in your new one! It's more of an aesthetic thing than anything else, but it does look nice for all those old imported logs.
