It seems like the bulk of the mecha pilots are joining the La Revolution, and while Maria isn't... Well... Keen on the Daligig, she does know how to handle a proper false front situation, and will gladly challenge any of the revolutionary robot pilots. Though deep down its mostly because she wants to see how she measures up to them and this is just a convenient excuse.

So if the rebels need someone ridiculous to stand in their way, or if someone is going to need rescue from collateral damage in the city area she's game for that.
