Marco Polo!

Hey everyone!

So in order to give the soon-to-be rebels more room to work with, Allenby is going to be trying to find more blind spots so conspirators can talk about things without Stacy overhearing. To accomplish this, she will basically be running around the City, playing Marco Polo with the ship. She'll be quite happy to have help in this endeavor. Or you can get on her case about it. Or you can hear about it from someone else and form your own groups to go hunting for Stacy-blind locations. I'll be putting up a log in the next few days, and it'll be kind of a freeform thing.

There are some blind spots that are currently known to the mods--I'm not sure how well-known they are ICly, but this would be a good time for chracters to share that info with each other or discover it for the first time!

Current Blind Spots:
- Susono Inn
- Warehouse
- Atori Tea House
- Kang's Place
- Animorphs' house

And, you can suggest new blind spots! If you have ideas for any, pipe up--these will all be made into an official list. (Allenby will be discovering that the Temple of Small Gods is one to start with.) You don't have to sign up here to jump into the log, but you do need to say so here if you want to find a new blind spot.

ETA: We have some good suggestions so far, which I have listed below! But some general locations would be spiffy too, where crewmembers could go without having to be invited (or breaking and entering into someone else's home). Also, most of the home locations are probably things your characters would discover independently, since Allenby will be looking for more accessible/general places where people can gather and work on plans or projects.

As for new blind spots: Tarrant's place! He's been working on wards and so on and so forth.

For some reason, this is the major, burning question I feel the need to ask about this important event.

pff. Well, I shall definitely be having Clef join in the log, but I can't think of any blind spots in particular that I'd want him to find.


Maybe some stupidly tiny ones. ("Look, here is a blind spot that's exactly as small as me.")

Kang's really only told close friends or people in Intelligence that his place is a blind spot. He might let a few more people know with recent events, but as of now it's not public knowledge.

I've always intended that Zetta's fortress be a blind spot by sheer dumb coincidence. And no one knows because no one checked.

Celena's abode could be another potential Blind spot, whether the upper portions of the tower or the entirety.

It'd be nifty to have places only partially blocked, I think.

Could go with the top portion of the tower, perhaps even the landing and entry way could be outside and the other rooms within, like it's at the edge/bottom of a blindspot bubble.

That or even multiple portions of the tower could be in blindspots at multiple levels but not the whole thing.

Huh...I always thought the city was just one big blind spot. My bad...

Anyway Ruffnut's Tower would be a good one, and Jinx would have gone out of her way to find a block of apartments that were in a blind spot.

I wonder if the Rangers' command center could be one? The issue is that you need to be accompanied by a Ranger to enter, but that might be fixable somehow.

So not an ideal one, obviously, but it'd be helpful in limited circumstances.

It's still useful! I'm sure it's possible to engineer situations where non-Rangers would be invited in for some reason.

Outsider's hotel sounds good! I'm not sure about the W.I.T.C.H. bus though; would Kaya suggesting that as a place for conspirators or info storage? Allenby's goal is to find locations that are accessible to the crew in general but not to Stacy, so a place where only one person has access isn't very conducive to that.

Outsiders for gatherings, and she would offer the bus for information. She just has a lot of space and wants to help people overthrow the Daligig.

If they agreed to meet here Kaya would have the doors open for them.

Hmm another idea, as to most recent constructions, safe zones and all, the locations could have been deliberately chosen to contain blind spots perhaps?

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I know some characters are able to make devices / magical whatnots to block out Stacy, but finding blind spots and then putting things there is also pretty sensible.

For a general location, what about a portion of Central Park or Awesome world?

Oooh, I love the idea of part of Central Park being a blind spot; Awesome World too. Any area of the park in particular that you were thinking of?

Hmm. Maybe the Naumburg Bandshell and the area around that or the Zoo, possibly. Depends, I think, on the size of the spot you'd want.

Central Park has a zoo? That is awesome and seems like a super-fun location to play around in, since presumably the animals aren't in it anymore. XD
