Sorry for the delay, folks, but villainship Plot is go! Stacy's Call to Action People can ask questions of Stacy there or thread with each other with their characters wondering wtf is going on. How this plot will be handled is each individual villain player that has a miniplot will do their own signups (so that they can edit their lists on the main post). All of those signups will be linked here, however. Each villain player can decide how many they want to have in their miniplot and how long it will run, though for the sake of timeliness, we need those miniplots to all at least start this week. Villain players can make up whatever they need to do the affected worlds, in terms of levels of technology and culture. There's a variety of solar systems in this star system, with a variety of worlds, colonies, and moons. Villain players can have their villains teaming up with other villains on one planet or set their villainy on a planet by themselves. If any villain players have any questions about what they can do in terms of setting, there is a space in the comments where they can ask them. There's also a space where they can link up to their signup pages so they can be added to the list. The Lantern Plot got approved for June 5th and I figure that'd be a nice one to get some activity going. It will be running for a month OOCly but stuff can be bendytimed around it. It could run possibly less, like three weeks, but I wanted to have it be interaction-heavy with the npcs so they could do more than ringslinging with the politics and stuff around the corps.
Since this is a plot that will be heavily dependent on what kind of rings from the emotional spectrum the characters get and us plotting a lot beforehand to shape the plot around the characters, I want to do signups now and then we can use the plotting post afterward so me and Kaylin can work with the players a bit to help them figure out rings and then know how to shape the plot.
Plot Name: In Brightest Day Preferred Date: June 5th Synopsis: "Crew members of Stacy, you have the ability to overcome great fear." The Tapestry says several crew members must go to a version of the DC Comics universe to help fight in a conflict there between the different corps of Lanterns, some of which police the universe and protect the innocent and some of which are out to cause pain and chaos. Upon arrival, they receive the rings appropriate to their personalities and have to serve their respective corps. In the end, the crew must fight in a war that isn't their own, deal with sometimes-hostile Lanterns and the complicated politics within and between the various corps, and must ensure that the War of Light between the corps ends in a way that doesn't devastate a universe. Plot Length: 1 month Plot Size: Medium. 8 other characters besides the 2 plot runners. 10 in all. Plot Location: Off-ship mission Plot Runner: Saphie and Kaylin, with help from Amit and Zippy 1. Sherlock Holmes 2. John Watson 3. Elle 4. Roger 5. Spinelli 6. Jamie 7. Hana 8. Sirius 9. Allenby 10. Simon 11. Barbara 12. Naoto
I opted to automatically put some newer players in, a habit I want to try to do with future plots. Because Amit and Zippy can help npc and aren't tossing characters in, I added two more character slots. An infopost about the Lanterns will go up over the next few days and allow for ring selection and plotting.

Shae here, throwing up a quick sign-up post for Natural Born Ghyyler!
Synopsis: During the fauxbellion, some of the Ghyyl escaped into Stacy's inner workings. Some of the brigged characters being forced to work manage to slip away after them into a restricted area of Stacy to see what they're up to and how it might hurt the rest of the crew. Plot Length: 2 weeks Plot Size: 4-5 characters Plot Location: On-ship Plot Runner: Shae
This plot will start on May 17th. There are five slots total, and only open to people who would have been brigged during the fauxbellion. If more than five people sign up, characters will be randomly selected.
You'll still be able to backtag the fauxbellion itself, so no worries there!

Chi here, doing the plot mod thing.~ o/
The Rebellion is well underway, but there's still a ways to go before the crew can be entirely free of the Daligig. Although Stacy's programming has already been altered so that she no longer protects the Daligig and Kessek from assaults by the crew, it would be better yet if she didn't need to follow that programming so much to begin with. To that end, the Puzzle Box plot will begin on Friday with the stated goal of giving Stacy more autonomy and releasing the blocks on her psychic abilities. These accomplishments will be useful in the long run and don't require any special knowledge or stealth skills on the parts of the characters involved. A group of powered characters will combine their powers and establish a psychic link with the ship, while a group of fighty-type characters physically journey into Stacy's brain to re-align her neural pathways, fighting attacks from her immune system along the way.
We'll need four to five characters for each group. I'll have Clef post about this ICly on the comms tomorrow, so if your character would conceivably be interested in AI autonomy, the Rebellion, or establishing further contact with the Ohm you can sign up OOCly for the plot here. :3
Psychic Group 1. Clef 2. Cole (?) 3. River 4. Kerrigan 5. Celena
Fighty Group 1. Kaya 2. Naoto 3. Fuu 4. Aibghalien 5. Ian

Chi here! As you saw in the last post, the Fauxbellion is officially starting on Wednesday the 2nd. This is a bit shorter notice than we normally like to do things, with the plot lasting a week and having the ability to be backdated there is still plenty of time to figure out what you want your character to do and sign up. Plot Summary:Allenby is going to lead a fake rebellion to try and kick the Daligig off the ship. There will be fighting, this time without Stacy intervening to protect the Daligig. Council will intervene, however, and order the remainder of the crew to assist the Daligig in putting down the rebellion. Most of the fighting will take place between crew members, but both sides will know that it's all part of the ruse. Many of the rebel characters will be brigged following the fauxbellion's failure, but this will still allow them to participate in upcoming plots. There's no set number of slots for this plot - these signups are mainly to get a tally of who and how many will be on each side and get some discussion going. ( List O' Characters )

Hey everyone! So in order to give the soon-to-be rebels more room to work with, Allenby is going to be trying to find more blind spots so conspirators can talk about things without Stacy overhearing. To accomplish this, she will basically be running around the City, playing Marco Polo with the ship. She'll be quite happy to have help in this endeavor. Or you can get on her case about it. Or you can hear about it from someone else and form your own groups to go hunting for Stacy-blind locations. I'll be putting up a log in the next few days, and it'll be kind of a freeform thing. There are some blind spots that are currently known to the mods--I'm not sure how well-known they are ICly, but this would be a good time for chracters to share that info with each other or discover it for the first time! Current Blind Spots:- Susono Inn - Warehouse - Atori Tea House - Kang's Place - Animorphs' house And, you can suggest new blind spots! If you have ideas for any, pipe up--these will all be made into an official list. (Allenby will be discovering that the Temple of Small Gods is one to start with.) You don't have to sign up here to jump into the log, but you do need to say so here if you want to find a new blind spot. ETA: We have some good suggestions so far, which I have listed below! But some general locations would be spiffy too, where crewmembers could go without having to be invited (or breaking and entering into someone else's home). Also, most of the home locations are probably things your characters would discover independently, since Allenby will be looking for more accessible/general places where people can gather and work on plans or projects. ( Proposed list! )

Have you ever wanted to have your character wear an outfit of frills and frippery, wield powers that seem entirely ridiculous, and kick butt anyway? If so, you're in the right place. Your character could be magical for a day! Plot Duration: December 2nd-11th, but it only takes up one day ICly. Bendytimed to take place after 'Is Your Love Strong Enough?'. Not sure when in relation to the modplot running at the same time (before?), I'll work that out when its details go up. Plot Summary: The characters will be touching down on a world whose name roughly translates as 'Sweetdream Paradise'. The capital city, Gummiring, is regularly attacked by Captain Ripades and her Pain Posse, shadow-slime goons that are impervious to all methods of attack other than the magical powers wielded by the Melody Militia-ordinary girls who were enlisted to protect the world with sweetness and light. Problem? They're all sick! Food-poisoned and bedridden, they need help. That's where the crew comes in, taking over their duties for a day. ( Potential powers, signup info, and more under the cut! )

There's an in-ship plot starting this November 22nd and lasting for 15 days.
It involved having two characters inside one body. Interested? Read on!
Plot: A few crewmen accidentally release Nezaitben, a spirit of love and harmony! The frozen spirit is thankful for their help and vows to make this ship into a paradise for all mortals inhabiting it. Her area of expertise is happiness and love.
For the first days, everything looks fine, apart from the ship having a lot more flowers than before, tiny little heart-shaped treats. Then, realizing that the crew continues to be gloomy, Nezaiben decided she needs a few more followers to aid her.
My, all these people on the ship that already love and like each other...sharing a body together for the rest of their lives would be fine, right? After all, they have to understand that a spirit like herself need their bodies much more than they do! THERE IS A SHIP TO CHEER UP! And when that doesn't seem enough, she completely crosses the family and friendship line and just goes for everyone.
Those struck by this curse of love must now walk in the same body, sharing the same mind, but with two spirits inside one! What shall they do? How can they fight it? And most importantly...will they be able to get their bodies back? (Obviously yes, but just play along with me)
How it will go down: Day one: A few brave volunteers (2-3 people) will find the frozen goddess in the city in a decaying garden that has not been explored before. They will find the statue of the frozen woman, and bring her back to life (we can talk about how they do that, depending on who volunteers)
Day two: Nezaiben introduces herself to the crew, and thanks them for freeing her and vows to make their lives as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Of course you know the saying 'if it's too good to be true...' She revives her frozen area into a huge, luscious garden of flowers, cherry & apple trees.
Day three: Realizing that despite cheering up most of the crewmen hasn't changed the overall atmosphere, that the flower garlands are not doing that much and that some crewmen continue to be downers, she decides that she'll need more followers to help her in her task. Picking at first people who already have connections and/or feelings for each other, they will wake up that day either on the other person;s body or wake up and realizing that something is wrong when they hear another voice with them.
Nezaiben will explain the situation to the crewmen, and thank them for being so cooperative. Keep in mind that while she is really powerful, she is also very naive, as in she thinks she is doing you mortals a GREAT FAVOR. Yeap. No need to thank her, she already knows she's working hard for you. So this isn't dealing with a maleficent ghost than a kind god trying to do too much.
Day five: The ship's situation continues to not be up to Neziben's standards. In desperation, she decides to have other followers join her, picking out people at random and putting together in bodies, in the hope that they'll get along this way.
Day five (three for the earlier bonded) to fourteen: The ship must deal with having people stuck inside two bodies at the same time. You are free to suggest ways to deal with her.
Day fifteen: A solution is found (and will depending entirely on what the players suggest!), Nezaiben is trapped again and now to break the 'curse' both characters must admit to each other their connection to sever it. There is no way out of this, lying will just delay the problem. This is an excellent opportunity for players who have hidden crushes to admit to each other, or people who hate each other do the same. Examples can be : "You are my friend." "You are my family member." "You're a total stranger that I only met because of this dumb curse." etc.
How this works: ♥ This plot is not mandatory; do not feel bad if you do not wish to join it! You may get a few flowers over your head, however. ♥ Characters will wake up with the 'illness.' There is no switching when both of them are conscious. If they are the type not to sleep, they will feel sleepy that night and will not be able to resist the relaxing fall into darkness. ♥ Characters are allowed to switch their forms as many times as they wish (Neziben will tell them this). However, they can only do so once per 'day'. ♥ While one character is the host for both spirits, the other one goes around all merrily, spreading flowers, love and candy to the rest of the crewmen, singing about harmony and love. They also are wearing bright golden outfits (that will disappear / switch to the other character when they do a body switch, then disappear completely once the curse is gone), and have flower crown on their heads. They speak using the character's voices since they have their vocal cords except just really, really, really happy. ♥ Players are allowed to play their happy doppelganger should they wish to do so! ♥ Meanwhile, those stuck in the same body can 1) Both control it 2) Fight each other for control (Stop punching yourself, etc.) 3)Pass the controls to each other. Imagine watching your own body do reactions when you give the controls to the other person, and you get the idea. Play it seriously, play it humorously, it's all good! 4)Both characters can hear each other's thoughts. ♥ A few characters will be helping out the others on how to deal with the situation, being in similair ones before. ♥ Now enjoy the fun of having your characters do things stuck in a single body, and how they react others.
Signing up: ♥ There are sections below, VOLUNTEERS for those that would like to be involved in discovering the frozen spirit, the Q&A for the plot, the PRESET character exchanges that have been already planned with players so I know who is going to be stuck with who, along with their social link (family, lovers, crushes, random strangers we figured would be fun to have together in a body, etc), and the RANDOM character exchange for those that want to participate in the plot, but had no set plans. This is a beautiful chance for you to get completely random CR with a total stranger and meet them up close and personal.

(I'll give you the solution if you want)

Geartopia is a steampunk themed planet plot starting the 20th and ending the 31st! The planet leave is not mandatory and, in fact, your characters are more than welcome to come in for a few days and then go back to the ship after checking the place out. This will be my first solo-run plot so we'll see how that goes! As in itself, it's a shore leave to a cowboy-steampunk land. Geartopia was built a long time ago by aliens visiting the planet and granting intelligence to some native species. You can find a few remains of their culture scattered around the land in the form of large stone carvings. The carvings also serve as guardians of the place - once a character enters the planet, they are only allowed to visit the main town and surrounding area before they find themselves stopped by an invisible force field (there are other smaller towns, but they are far and few in between). Technology is steampunk with a cowboy flare; There are trains, horses, chariots, lots of gears and dark clothing. The inhabitants are mostly humans, humanoid animals and alien natives and steampunk robots. The technology the elder aliens left them allows for contact with Stacy but otherwise there is nothing futuristic going on on the planet - the aliens wanted it this way and for the most part the population respects this. And therein is the trouble. Nomalanga, the town's mayoress, asks them for their aid in helping her save her country from the evil dealings of Snidley Pridlash who wishes to take the town over and begin to deconstruct the elder alien technology to start to conquer the stars. The crew accepts and gets sent down to a world that looks like cowboys and robots got mixed together in a blender. Your characters can just goof around the town and do the following things; - Practice riding the robot horses- Enjoying what a Wild Wild West City could offer them; booze, card games, public baths and a tiny festival. - Travel into the wildlands and converse with the Wild Ones, creatures made of plants who are natives of the land and live in harmony with the town. At least, if the crew successfully saves the mayoress from the plot Snidley has organized... The shore leave will have a multitude of mini-plots that can either be won by the players or lost depending on how they do. Each one will change the course of how this world ends up and the townspeople characters react! I will accept signups until Monday Night, and then I will roulette whoever is interested. However, as noted above, you can just have your characters having fun in a cowboy world and checking out the sights. For those interested in doing missions, there will be the following during the one week and a half course; ♣ "In Her Mayoress' Honor" Uncover three clues that prove Snidley Pridelash is preparing an evil scheme to kill off the mayoress. (Mini - plot for 4 people) The clues will be found in a haunted cavern and will include a fighting part so the team should include at least one detective and someone who's able to fight off wild creatures (they are a mystery). Proving that Snidley is up to something will improve town moral with the entire crew and award the entire team 1 barrel of ale each (To do what they will with it) and . The plot will start as soon as the entire group is set on the planet, so you should be available starting Wednesday and ready to do some fast tagging. This is because the mission is timed, after three days, it will end in failure. ♥ "A Simple Game of Blackjack" Play a card game against some goons to get them to leave town in disgrace. The game will be open to three people (Han is already signed up). There might be a brawl if the characters win on either side. Alternately, the characters involved stand to loose most of their spending money for the trip. Win, and they get free booze, and the best rooms at the nearby hotel and uh...free entertainment if they so desire. ♠ "Shoot to Win" Following the results of In Her Mayoress' Honor, the town will be attacked by goons. Should they have proven she is going to be attacked, they will get backup (lowering the overall danger level of the mission to maximum 4 on the scale), otherwise it will be a pretty bloody gunfight (Maximum 8 on the damage scale). This will end with a single epic gunfight standoff between a goon and one of the crew members. Anyone who can shoot a gun and not die is invited to participate in the shoot-off. The shoot-off is open only to characters who CANONLY can shoot guns, and, again, only one person will be picked for the standoff. The winner gets the goon's prized shootgun as a souvenir. ♦ "Kidnapped!" Three people will be kidnapped by Snidley's goons during the gunfight, along with the mayoress. Do you ever dreamed of having your characters tied up on the traintracks? NOW'S YOUR CHANCE! Punchy is already signed up for this, so there are two slots opened for grabs. Keep in mind that Punchy will be badly hurt during their interrogation. Also traintracks. ♣ "Rescued!" While the town licks its wounds from the shootout, a team of six will be sent to stop Snidley himself. The team will include Lash. There will be a giant spider battle. ♥ "Trampled?" And while the rescue efforts are going on, a herd of wild Shepofalant will head straight to the town, in no way a sinister plot caused by anyone! That would be silly. mission has no set people, the idea is to stop the trampling animals and saving people. ♠ The plot is for players who want to join in and is not mandatory. However! Any character that joins will be given by the mayoress as part of her exchange bartering price, one cowboy hat (all brown), one pair of steampunk goggles, a steampunk vest, and, most importantly, one part of leathersnake steampunk boots. This is a gift for anyone who is just visiting to blend with the locals and to prove she's honest about her dealings. Those that are part of the plots will also get additional boons, including weapons, pants and more clothing, a kiss from the mayor, etc. If Snidley is disposed of, the Mayoress promises to give the crew a herd of Shepofalant and Turtiagoa, and more if the teams do really well. Shepofalant: A cross between sheep, buffalo, goat and llamas, the Shepofalant can climb large mountains and live in very short supplies of...just about anything offered to them. Six iron stomachs, they spend most of their lives chewing food. They can survive on the ship's slop, meaning they do not take up extra resources. They breed two times a year (in RP gametime) and have one to three babies per birth. Turtiagoa: These look like turtles and bunnies crossed together. A popular method of cooking them is to turn the shell over over a fire and to steam the creature in its own shell, much like a lobster. They taste like sweet rabbit meat, and can also survive on the slop. They, however, breed six time a year, and have liters of five to twenty creatures. It is advised not to let them breed to much... So who's ready for some steampunk?

Howdy y'all! Over the weekend before Halloween, Saphie and I will be running a mini-plot, and we're looking for people interested in playing.
Basically, Eva will be hosting a Halloween event in the Sensoriums. Everyone's invited, and Eva will set up a delightfully-decorated suburbs where people can trick-or-treat for knick-knacks and Sensorium candies. Unfortunately, the Sensoriums will glitch out, plunging six crewmembers into The Nightmare Before Christmas' Halloweentown. From there on, those crewmembers will have to save Halloween by proving their mettle and scaring the pants off of people.
If you're interested in being part of the six kidnapped crew members, please comment here. We are looking for five more. Instead of first-come first-serve, we'll be using a random number generator to determine who gets in. Those who don't, don't fear! Everyone's still welcome to the party and we're also looking for volunteers to get scared (or unimpressed) by their crewmates.
These sign ups will be open until the end of the weekend. This plot will run October 28th-31st and will be backtag-friendly.

Archaeology, Natural Disasters and You!Synopsis: When a natural phenomena that happens once every three hundred years threatens to wipe out the last traces of a dead civilization, a small archaeology crew sets out to find and bring back as much as they can before the site is destroyed. Plot Length: Two weeks. September 16-30. Plot Size: 10 Plot Location: Off ship mission You do not need to have an archaeologist character to sign up! Just be aware that combat is highly, highly unlikely unless there's wild animals or something. If your character is willing to help out, fake like they are helping out, or back seat drive, they are welcome. ( Read more... )Sign ups are pretty much first come, first serve.

Hey, remember this plot? It's now been approved. I don't know exactly how my work schedule is going to shake out, but we can start this plot as early as mid-September depending on everyone's schedules. The tentative character lineup for this plot is: - Soren [anytime]
- Shoutarou Hidari [anytime]
- Punchy [after Sept 5]
- Sofia [anytime]
- Ellyn [after Sept 5]
- Alendian [anytime]
- Ronnae [anytime]
Starfire Caro Ru Lushe [anytime]- Wakka [anytime]
- Sakura [anytime before October Para plot]
(bold is verified) So what I need from everyone who expressed interest is this: 1) Are you still interested in having your character in this plot (Y/N)? 2) If yes, what dates would you most prefer for running the plot? ( More details about the plot! )

Ok, so, with LJ going down and everything and time and all that fun stuff. I wanted to toss an OOC post up for anyone interested in receiving either First Aid training or the more advanced among you, nursing training.
Nursing training is more along the lines for people who want to make this their entire task up on the ship or magical healers. It's not really for fighters, though some preexisting fighter/medics with an interest in learning more are more than welcome to come by.
So far the students are Kaya and Miranda.
Please take into consideration that this is a major IC commitment. This is just like having an IC job. While the OOC commitment won't be huge, the IC one will. So if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
First aid classes will be more laid back, meant for emergencies and training people to handle medicing on the fly until a properly trained medic/healer can get to the patient. This is for everyone.
Anyone interested please tag here and I'll try to get something IC up in the next week or so, work allowing. This is more for me to get an idea of a head count.

Who wants to live forever run Security?
We're currently sans a person in charge of the Security department, so if you meet the following criteria, now is the time to volunteer!
1) Your character is in Security/ought to be in Security
2) It would be IC for your character to volunteer and/or get drafted
3) You don't mind getting poked for stuff

Know, oh players, that between the years when the computers drank information and the yellowing papers, and the years of the rise of the World of Warcraft, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars- Chainmail, Shadowrun, Toon, Paranoia, White Wolf with its dark-haired women and towers of spider-haunted mystery, GURPS with its chivalry, Traveller that bordered on the pastoral lands of Bunnies and Burrows, Call of Cthulhu with its shadow-guarded tombs, the HERO System whose players wore steel and silk and gold. But the proudest kingdom of the world was Dungeons and Dragons, reigning supreme in the dreaming west. Yes, players. Know you that I have delved into these realms, and come bearing news of many glorious accomplishments. Stories untold and adventures unread. However, surely you would rather tell your own tales, yes? Very well. ( I will assist you. )The max players I'll be accepting is eight. It just gets impossible for me to keep track of more than that, and even eight makes me uncomfortable. The perfect size is four-six players.
|
Transmigrationers! It is time for our first inaugural player plot! (*Cue applause!*) If you've been following the IC anon memes for a while, this may be something you've seen coming: There is a traitor in the crew, and they do not have good intentions in mind. ( A Traitor In Our Midst? )
