Hiatus? Slowtime?

Alright, here's the thing.

Juuust about October 1st, my laptop spontaneously decided to have a meltdown. Different from others you may or may not have heard of. Near as we can figure out, the fans in it simply don't spin fast enough to keep the CPU or...whichever one it is that's acting up, cool. Thus, it does not stay on long enough to effectively do anything. It gets hot, it panics, it shuts off. The time varies depending on how I treat it, but still not long enough to do anything with. (Oh, yes, I see the irony in it finally being cold out when it starts acting up)

The point here is, until I get it repaired or replaced, I'm going to be pretty slow. I'll try and use what time I do get to continue playing, but it'll be fairly sparse. When will it get fixed? I re-eally don't know. I hope it'll be before plot.

It may be best at this point to assume Cam, Kyle, and Adam are all three wandering around quiet areas alone for the most part, and only occasionally popping their heads in with the rest of the populace.

Eww D:

Did you try a cooling pad at all? Targus makes some relatively cheap ones that plug into the usb. That's what I used when my old clunker's fans acted up.

Yeah. usually two so it's evenly distributed. My old computer was one of the old Dell Inspirons that is like, abnormally hot and the cooling pad kept it from melting down.

TOTAL bummer. Hmm. See, the only problem is this is like THE big plot. I think if you can be around a little bit, we can have your guys on the slower part and just talk to you oocly if you miss out on anything to keep you caught up, and it'd be okay.

If you disappear entirely, we can GLaDoS your guys and have them pop in later. Adam, for instance, would be a great one to show up at the end of plot, maybe for his blood to heal people? Like if your comp is so fritzy, you can't be here directly, we'll still find ways to include you in like that.

Anyway, however it works, we'll make it work. Mostly, the important thing is let us know if you need help, since less time, means you have less time to read, so I imagine it'll be harder following everything. So if you get lost, we'll try to catch you up and direct you where you're looking to go.

Awesome! Okay, good. We'll do our best to help you along if you need it.
