The name of the game is just surviving. Hal can't really just go ARGH kill, because Stacy's holding him back but he can get them on the technicality of them not finding a way to survive. That means there ARE ways to survive each situation thrown at them, and usually they can be accomplished through Teamwork.
Shortly, they'll have an actual strategy, but for now--survive.
