As I say, if it's convenient for the majority I'm happy to run with it. It's just that for my character (and it is just one character too, Wally wouldn't be such a problem, and is taken from before said event anyway) it echoes a major canon issue that I'd rather avoid because it puts the character progression I'm trying to set up on the backfoot.
