Augh I have been such fail of late. All right my loves, question time.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE AT SPACE PROM?

This is the big brainstorming post of doom. What kind of songs and music? Punch? Activities? We want after prom? THE FLOOR IS YOURS

Also WHEN SHOULD IT HAPPEN? When would it be a good time for it to go up so everyone can have fun?

-We still need a date matchup post, both for people to find interested people and perhaps an IC random match service to be set up for the shy. If all else fails Starfire can do it! Her ideas are weird enough that she might ICly match a few odd pairs that the players want to happen.

-As far as music, a variety sounds good. Slow ballads, rock, serenade by banjo...as long as there's opportunities for both couples and friends/singles to dance, it's fine! I don't have anything about specific songs though.

-Activities...regular proms usually have photobooth and the king/queen ceremonies, right? Maybe our ceremony could be a little different, since they're not high school kids finishing a year of school but crewmates in a war. An awards ceremony for MVP and stuff would be a huge mess, but maybe there'd be small gifts like little chocolates and stuff that a character could give anonymously. They'd have tiny notes: "thanks for saving a life" written on them.

If you wanted awards as an unrelated meme, though, they could be...'best dressed in skintight plantstuff', 'most likely to earn violations at a party', 'most likely to be secretly plotting your demise'...IDK. I think I've been in high school too recently.

-Karaoke? Talk about ear-plugging and chasing people off the dance floor. :P

-Yes, after-prom night on the town! I'll let other people describe it since I've never been to one.

-As far as when...I won't be around from January 4th to 11th. I'd hate to miss it, but I understand that it's probably a good still-on-break time for everyone else.

Thank you thank you thank you for the suggestions. Honestly, it's a good thing that high school was recently for you because I think it's a tad too obvious that it was a while ago for me, at least when it comes to planning this thing.

I think Starfire and Sofia can do the match thing. And possibly anyone else who's interested.

New meat here - IIRC, prom is only for youngsters, right?

It's for everyone, actually (at least on the meatship). Although some people should probably look over the young ones. But then on Stacy, the young people have more or less been given free reign so there's probably little point in making sure they're not drinking and having sex when they're all ready doing it.
