Hi! My name is Infy, and I'm fresh meat, bringing along Edriss with her host Allison Kim--more people probably know her as Visser One, of Animorphs fame, though she is from before the main series of books happens, and thus hasn't managed to reach that position yet. She's the mastermind behind the Yeerk Empire's slow secret invasion plan for Earth, and at this point in her canon, is still in the thick of setting things up for the Empire to come. She's a cunning, intelligent, pragmatic, ruthless individual who's ambitious without being megalomaniacal, and is a little too cautious to be fatally arrogant. She's a manipulator at heart, and wants all the control and resources she can manage to finagle, but though she's a villain and technically evil, and occasionally a bit of a heartless bitch, she's a surprisingly reasonable sort about it--and is struggling to understand human emotions, as at this point she's sort of hovering in a mindset between that of a real human and a Yeerk.

That said, a quick note on my portrayal of her: yes, she will be a perfectly good, law abiding citizen of the ship, at least for a little while. This is because she's a healthily paranoid little parasite, and thus going undercover as just a normal, nice, uninfested person for a while to see what she's dealing with and how she can use it. Please respect that fact, and ask me before you do anything that would change her status on that front; not only is she an extraordinarily good actor, but she's a big enough villain that it could cause problems if she gets outed before establishing herself firmly enough in the ship.

That will be miiiiighty interesting since some of the characters remember when the Yeerks tried to take control of the ship. (Kate here was one of the hosts at the time) I think Paco had a Visser? (Kaylin, remind me which?)

Ooooh, nice! =3 I'm looking forward to all the fireworks that result once she finally does get unmasked; it sounds like there will be some major grudges in the works.

As a huge Animorphs fan I greatly support the idea of more Yeerks on the ship.

And as long as Edriss doesn't kill anyone, she might find an unlikely ally in this talking cat - who will nevertheless give her an extremely long lecture about inhibiting the free will of other beings.

Heh, I don't think she'll kill anyone unless she has a good reason for it; it would blow her cover straight out of the water, for one thing. And for another, living people are more useful, generally speaking. B|bb So they might very well get to be allies? Though the muse is rolling her eyes at the lecture and thinks everyone inhibits everyone else in some way just by existing; she just does it more, more noticeably, and more out of necessity than most others.
