Charmed, I'm sure.
This is only my second LJRP, so bear with me; I'm still trying to figure out all the fiddly bits.
My character is a fandom OC (ever heard of The Flaming Lips?  Great band...) named Yoshimi Ito (if you have in fact listened to The Flaming Lips, you may or may not have heard the song Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robot, Pt. 1 [yes, there is a Pt. 2.  I just pretend it doesn't exist] from the album by the same name [only without the 'Pt.' bit]).  She... slays robots... in the future.  She's also a Luddite, so she's sure to have oodles of fun aboard Stacy, what with all of the artificially intelligent ones running about and the general concept of a sentient ship... mmm.
Yes, she does have pink hair.

Because it was closing...? And yes, it's very very sad. But librarians have lives (or so I've been assured), and so I guess they have to close eventually.

Oh, fun fact: My writing warm-up teacher was like "Oh, speaking of Katie, you wrote something about Yoshimi earlier in the week... I love The Flaming Lips!" And then she encouraged me to keep writing Yoshimi because she thought she was really well-developed. And then this guy, Blackwell (AWESOME name; he's a poet/violinist) came up and asked if I had derived that story from a video game, only he was hinting at Halo, and I got the hint, and then we had an epic gamer conversation. It was lovely.

And that's my story.

I love librarians. I want them to have lives. I also love libraries...

I want them to have lives as well, but i'd also like for the library to be open for more than three hours in the afternoon on weekends.
