I am terrible with intros SO HERE IT GOES

Hi! I'm Mireille, also known as Mir, and nowadays I tend to go by Sara for some reason. It's pretty confusing, but I'm fine with any of those titles... or even 'hey you'. Anyways, I'm super new here, and I'm terribly excited to get to know everyone! Excited, and a bit frightened. First new game in almost a year, aw yeah.

I'm bringing in Joker from Mass Effect 2. He's a semi-crippled pilot with an attitude, and a strongly denied penchant for his AI co-pilot.

I can be found at 'sniper is a spy' on AIM, sarasarus on plurk, and my email, which I'll list in Joker's journal once I get things up and running.

But yes, tldr: I'm Mir, and I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

Hi Mireille/Mir/Sara! I'm Varis. though I will actually also usually go by whatever people feel like calling me, Var or Varis is usually sufficient 8D I play... Shepard, obviously. I also play Claire Redfield from Resident Evil, Scarlet Levy from 28 Weeks Later, and Warden Cousland from Dragon Age.

It's nice to meet you Varis, and oh my what a lineup. I love the 28 weeks/days later movies, and ditto with Dragon Age. Between ME and DAO I actually preferred DA, because there is something infinitely more badass about swinging around a giant sword...

but guh I'm babbling, and I'm really excited to play here! I hope you don't mind if I add you on plurk?

I actually am hard-pressed on which I like more! I played DA first, but I have been a shooter-game fanatic since Duck Hunt, so. I took to ME fairly quickly. ALSO IT'S NICE TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE WHO ENJOYED THE 28 DAYS/WEEKS MOVIES. I feel like the only person who watched them, some days :(

Joker will complain about his beautiful ship having holes, while secretly sniffling about it at night. There might even be tears.

I finished ME then went straight to playing ME2, so most of the first few hours in game involved me complaining about how terrible the new system was and how ammo was such a pain and etc... but I quickly got over that.the 28 duo are some of the better zombie movies out there, and it always saddens me that it isn't more mainstream.

My plurk is full of the incredibly dull and mundane, so I apologize as well.

I feel like I've hit the nostalgia jackpot, because The Circle of Magic and Animorphs basically made up my childhood! I kind of stopped reading Animorphs near the end because I started having trouble keeping up, but I loved that series more than anything else!

Hee, awesome! Daja's a lone canon warrior here, but we've got one heck of an awesome Animorphs cast! Apart from Marco, there's Rachel, Ax, Eva, Tom/Iniss, Loren, and Aftran. and if you ever feel like re-reading these I HAVE EBOOKS :P

Jake was always my favourite, but then he went so emo (for understandable reasons, but still) near the end. There was actually a site I saw that had all the ebooks... I just don't know if it's still around.

The ebooks aren't online anymore - they're actually republishing the series, so Scholastic asked them to take them down. But since they're not republishing ALL 60+ BOOKS at once, it means if you want to read the whole thing right now they can be tricky to find. (And yaaaaaay for liking Jake! We used to have one, but alas not anymore.)

Yup! The fandom (yes, there still exists a fandom) has been rather abuzz about it for a while now. In fact today we just found out what all the new models for the anis look like. /is still headdesking over Marco's. Why, Scholastic. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

But yes, I do have all the ebooks saved, so I can always send them onto people who want to re-read the books or whatever!

Midterms just ended! I have a quiz on Tuesday and a few papers but nothing too crazy. So hopefully I'll be able to get back into things and stop flailing around like a chicken with its head cut off soon.
