Intro

Hello everyone. I'm new here. My name is Anna - ya'll have met me in the chat already if you've been there. I'm the one who's gonna be going by Ryuu-chan. If anyone wants to drop me a line, you can contact me through private message on LJ, can message me on messenger - I'm mostly on AIM (melodiousflurry) though can be found on my other two - or you can shoot me an e-mail through melodiousflurry@hotmail.com.

Anyway...

I'm gonna be playing Ryuunosuke Ikenami from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. He's a young kabuki actor who had to leave the stage for a year to become a retainer for the 18th's generation leader of the Shinkengers. I'm bringing him in post season for the reasons of if I were to bring him in in the middle of the season, he just really wouldn't make too horribly much sense. I'm also bringing him in pre-Gokaiger because he still has his powers before the first episode of Gokaiger. For those not in the Sentai know, think Power Rangers only Japanese and both less and more cheezy at the same time - and no I don't joke. There's no Bulk and Skull (or as this season is doing, Bulk and Spike) but the interaction between characters is funny enough sometimes.

I just said this in Takeru's post but YEAAAAAH~! Shinkenger is my favorite sentai series ever (though I'm immensely enjoying Gokaiger)

Yeah, Shinkenger and Gokaiger are awesome series. And I've already seen evidence that there will be Shinkengers involved in Gokaiger! I have seen it!

Well they are trying to involve all the shows. I look forward to the Shinkenger episode, whenever it happens.

Though really, after they get their special training from the Gekirangers in episode seven... I almost wonder what more the Shinkengers have to teach them. Well, honor and mojikara, I suppose <3

I know for sure that they're in 199 Heroes... or at least I've seen pictures from articles of it.

Oh Hearts yeah, with the mojikara. However they have the honor. Watch the Deka episode. Marvelous actually talks about pirate honor. And they actually have more teamwork than it looks to us. I can already see it.

Well, keep in mind what it took to defeat the first batch of Zangyack Empire Enemies.

And yeah they have teamwork, but their teamwork doesn't match up to the Shinkenger's teamwork.

It's not just Marvelous' pride. It's all their pride. It's the pride of their people basically. They fight to gain the freedom of their planet.

Or any other team for that matter, but they're slowly getting better. I mean Don has gotten a lot less freaky about avoiding fights and Joe is slowly warming up to everyone.
