Series: Pokemon
Role on ship: Newbie. Telekinetic powerhouse.
Personality Snapshot: Very grumpy, very mistrustful psychic clone who's currently rather upset due to his powers being nerfed. Mewtwo's still very much a child deep on the inside, but he's been badly scarred and doesn't open up easily anymore. He's also extremely proud. Also: CLONE AAAANGST. Clone angst EVERYWHERE.
Current Thoughts: HOLY WTF BBQ. Also lots of annoyance, and a desire to win a fight with Stacy though he knows he can't.
Goals: Go find a quiet place to brood in a corner.

Role on ship: Co-Head of Ship Security, Team Dad, Super Soldier
Personality Snapshot: Serious, reliable, usually quiet man who doesn't like to talk about himself much. He's friendlier than he used to be but still mostly awkward.
Current Thoughts: Hoping his avia is finally sorted out, relieved the ship hasn't caught fire and exploded in his absence, and eager to get back to work.
Goals: Get his armor back out of heavy weapons, get back to work, avoid talking to Samus about the whole alien marriage thing.

Jara has the huge advantage of not being human, Mewtwo's much more tolerant of nonhumans. He'd probably remind Mewtwo of some of his clones, really. Some of them... were not that bright. (And the Yeerks would make him rage incredibly hard, if he were to find out about that.)

This is true! ♥ They might even get to bond, if Jara gets to be tolerated; he's friendly and understanding and.... well, honestly, would probably actually be a lot better a conversationalist with a psychic than most? He's more of a non-verbal guy who thinks in concepts and images, so if Mewtwo reads his mind or teaches him to use those rings they all get, then they might actually be able to have some decent talks.

XD Not to mention he's probably one of the few who would have nearly identical thought processes picked up on to what he was struggling to say aloud. And he is not the sort to challenge an obviously dominant authoritative figure like Mewtwo, which is probably also helpful to getting along with the guy. And while there's no clone angst on his part, he was also born in a tube in captivity, so the Yeerks can be shared rage fuel, too.

Even though it looks like he's signing on with engineering, Chase should still talk to security some time, let Chief know who he is, anyway, and let them know there someone else with military level training about who is usually happy to help out in an emergency.
