Yeah, if he finds out she's with someone, and said someone tells him to back off, he will - but otherwise, he'll give her a hard time and flirt as much as he thinks he can get away with... while otherwise trying to help out and keep an eye out for her.

He's a pain in the ass sometimes, but he keeps an eye out on people.
