Upcoming Plot: Visitation Day: Signups

So, in September, I'm going to be running the Visitation Day plot, in which Stacy has a temporary mass podpop, which many current residents getting what Stacy has deemed their Most Important Person, but only for a day. For all those who'd really enjoy a little castemate action, this one's for you.


Consider this the beginning of sign-ups for this plot. Post with your character, their canon, and possible candidates for their Most Important Person. Everyone who signs up for the plot will find one Most Important Person to temp for someone else. For those of us from more obscure canons, this will involve some briefings, at least, and perhaps some canonreview when possible.

Sign-up Example:

The Chancellor (or, the most prominent Dragon, in the novella)
Canon: The Excalibur Alternative (or, Sir George and the Dragon novella)
Candidates for Most Important Person
1. A daughter. Veronica talks on about one page of the whole book, and none of the others are named, so a briefing on the world'd be all you needed, and there'd be much family gleefulness.

2. George, Emperor of Avalon. The Chancellor's Best Friend / Liege-lord / Old Army Buddy. A thorough briefing would probably be sufficient to prepare someone for some 'Yes, Galactic Alliance. No, I'm not happy either. What are plans B-Q on how to save the multiverse, Majesty?"

ETA: 2a. Archbishop Timothy, the most badass clergyman the Chancellor's facet of reality has ever seen. Similar to Sir George, but less strategizing on the offense and more on pastoral care of the ships inhabitants.

3. The Late and Unlamented Saernai Commander. Tiny teddy-demon. Former Owner. Worst Enemy. A quick briefing and the ability to keep asking "Why do you people keep acting like it can talk?" would probably be enough for a fascinating day for the mun and a very bad day for the Chancellor.

Candidates

- Fonrar, Kang's mate, is one that does not put up with shit. When the males wouldn't teach her and the other females how to even use a sword, she decided FUCK THAT we'll learn on our own. She's smart, and tough, and just plain awesome.

- Slith is a nosy, sneaky bastard, and he's totally Kang's BFF. He was the 2IC of the regiment, but when Kang retired, he was promoted to Commander, and pretty quickly became the General of the entire Teyrian army.

Kidlets!

- Brevo is the type that thinks bravery is the absence of fear and will sometimes go out looking for trouble to prove himself. He's also /very/ protective of friends and family, and even though he fights all the time with Yana, he does care about his sister. He's the biggest and strongest of the bunch

- Yana is a little troublemaker, very headstrong, and complains about Brevo constantly, but she cares about him too. She looks and acts a lot like her mom.

- Grosk is a bit serious, and very, very blunt at times. He's very literal-minded. Like... he's the type that will ask those very personal questions that everyone else is thinking but knows better than to actually ask, and not get why people don't want to answer.

Kali would also like to see her mother, brothers, and sister.

1. Akiko Narumi - His chief, and daughter of his previous chief. Much as he butted heads with her, she was still pretty important to him - and being around Hoshi, she reminds him of her something terrible.

2. Sokichi Narumi - His former chief, and mentor. If possible, maybe have him taken right before his death so he knows how Shoutarou screwed up their final case, give Shou a chance to apologize for his FUBAR.

Both would need a fair bit of canon review, though.

Canon: Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 Anime and Land of Sand light novel)
Candidates for Most Important Person:
1. Nash Tringham: Father, of the absent sort. Brilliant alchemist, met up with a bad end when he got mixed up with a greedy landowner that wanted him to make gold for him.

2. Belshio: Best friend of Nash, eventually was the Tringham brothers' caretaker. He's the quiet strength type, a man of few words but with strong convictions and does what he thinks is right regardless of what other people think of him.

All one need to do to fill these roles is watch episodes 11&12 of the anime, available here on Youtube legitimately (http://www.youtube.com/show/fullmetalalchemist)! (If you're out of the US that link won't work, but I'm sure I'll be able to swing something for you.)

Canon: Deadman Wonderland. Any of these options would require a very thorough canon review, sadly.

1. Yoh Takami, her older brother. So overprotective that he committed a crime and got himself deliberately sent to prison so that he could break Minatsuki out. Also a bit of a kleptomaniac.

2. Ganta Igarashi. At the point Minatsuki is from, she hasn't met him yet, but he was the motivating force behind her learning that not all people are untrustworthy. He's the hero of the series and generally an all-around shonen hero type.

When he's not overthrowing fascist governments he's alternately fighting and bonding with the Protoss, fighting the zerg, and kicking himself for not being able to stop Sarah Kerrigan's infestation and rise to infamy as the Queen of Blades.

She was podpopped for a couple of days in the game, but was seriously injured and infected by a ragevirus before being quickly repodded. Goliath has been nothing but upset about this ever since, especially since one of the things she was unusually angry about was him mentioning her to his friends at all, and he's had a lot of time since she was repodded to consider what this meant about their relationship and how much of her feelings for him might have been tied up in the excitement of keeping him (and the rest of the clan) her own personal secret.

A temporary reunion with many hugs and reassurance would do him a world of good.

1) Ursa, Zuko's mother. He hasn't seen her since he was 10, when she murdered his grandfather to save his life, then fled the Fire Nation. He loves her very much and misses her and would love to see her again, especially now that he's his own person on the right path and just possibly might be able to hear her say she's proud of the man he's become.

2) Iroh, his uncle. AKA his better father-figure. I would prefer Ursa, but if someone has an itch to play Iroh for a short period of time, I would be pleased as punch to throw Zuko at them for a day.

1. Angelina Henderson: Sam's wife. She's pregnant too, but in the early stages. Friendly and beautiful, but occasionally spoiled. She is the only daughter of the oldest and most powerful vampire lord.

Character: Billy Cranston
Canon: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Candidates:
1. Trini Kwan: The first Yellow Ranger of Billy's team! She's a confident, serious, and intelligent marital artist who seems to ooze Zen. Her specialties are resolving conflicts and breaking down overly-wordy geek speak (Billy is guilty) into manageable chunks of information.
2. Jason Lee Scott: The first Red Ranger of Billy's team! He's a martial arts expert (theme going here!), a warm and caring person, and a leader who easily rallies the troops. Also excellent to have around at barbecues, and when he's in training mode he forgets how to use an indoor voice.


Character: Starfire
Canon: Teen Titans (cartoon)
Candidate:
1. Robin: The leader of the Teen Titans. He's a bit of a dork at times, but otherwise very serious and confident. He was Star's sweetheart, and she'll always love him, but...recent developments have complicated that a bit. It would be heartbreaking to see him again. He's also a somewhat odd alternate universe member of the Bat-family, so some fun can be had there!

Character: Yuna
Canon: Final Fantasy X
Candidates:
1. Rikku: She's Yuna's cousin, one of her loyal guardians, and an Al Bhed---that means she's a gearhead, something severely frowned on by the dominant culture in Spira at the time. She's bubbly and warm, and you might also have opportunities to post things in the Al Bhed cipher. I wouldn't mind if you decided to take her from an FFX-2 canon point either, whatever Rikku it is will make Yuna happy.
2. Lulu: Lulu is another one of Yuna's guardians, a skilled black mage, and the woman Yuna considers to be like an older sister to her. She's cool and collected, but watch out for her sharp tongue.


Character: Applejack
Canon: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
Candidates:
1. Twilight Sparkle: This bookish pony came to Ponyville to study friendship, and Applejack was there beside her the whole way. The two of them are both deeply committed to what they do, and she seems to be Applejack's closest friend in the mane cast. She has many adorkable moments, and she's the magic that glues the team of ponies together---her mentor in the art of magic, Celestia, is also here, leading to one happy pony!
2. Apple Bloom: She's Applejack's younger sister and the baby of their little Apple family. She's a sweet little angel (or so she thinks), great at carpentry, and has the cutest little filly begging eyes.

1. Bobby Singer (We'd still love if he got apped but be good for the brothers to chat with him for even a day.) He's the grizzled old hunter father figure who's good with research and kicking ass.

2. Ben Braeden - Lisa would be good, but for Dean? He's really fond of the kid who may or may not be his son who also likes cars, classic rock and picking up chicks. Canon's never confirmed really one or another.

3. Mary Winchester - Sure he misses his old man too, but Mom still holds a special place. A former Hunter herself who's a real Mama bear, loves Beatles music and a good cook.

And for any of these and who'd be good to interact with both Winchesters? Bobby mainly with Mary a distant second.

Candidates

1) Tadao Hikari - Hoshi's father that she always looks up to. He's a major general in the JGSDF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Ground_Self-Defense_Force), protective over his family, and is responsible for her interest in beyblading.

2) Keiko Hikari - Hoshi's mother. She's a fabulous cook and a wonderful homemaker. She also runs a babysitting service to help generate money/help her friends out.

Any of her team would be very accepted! Their names are Sei Harada (12 years old, wields the holy beast Metatron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metatron)), Skyler "Skye" Kantorowicz (20 years old, wields the holy beast Jehoel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehoel)), Ami Yukimura (18 years old, wields the holy beast Gabriel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabriel)), and then Petra Teresi (18 years old, wields Uriel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uriel)). As far as these guys are concerned, I'd be more than happy to give the profiles I wrote up of Sei and Skye and as far as Ami and Petra are concerned, I can summarize their history and personality in a paragraph or two.

Character: Jade Harley

Candidates for Most Important Person:

John Egbert (http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/John_Egbert) - John is one of Jade's best friends, and also her paradox brother due to Sburb shenanigans. He's a giant derpface (like Jade), and also a prank master. He does cool things with wind, too.

Dave Strider (http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Dave_Strider) - Dave is the coolest of coolkids, and another one of Jade's best friends! He likes rapping, being ironic, and he's the resident time player in the kid session.

Rose Lalonde (http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Rose_Lalonde) - Rose is the last of Jade's best friends. She likes trying to play psychologist when anyone gives her any kind of hook, grimdark things like horroterrors, and knitting.

Canditates:

1) Emilio Ribisi - mobile suit pilot, Sumeragi's lover who's death she was responsible for (tactical error based on incorrect information). Has roughly 45 seconds of screentime so it is fun headcanon land!

2) Billy Katagiri - One of Sumeragi's other boyfriends, kind of yandere, works for the military. Last time Sumeragi saw him Setsuna was like 'so btw your girlfriend is part of those terrorists you've been trying to wipe out' so. AWKWARD.

3) Kati Mannequin - Rival-slash-role-model-slash-kinda-friend. Knew Sumeragi in college, they're now on opposite sides of the conflict. Also awkward but less so than Billy because Kati isn't crazy.

3. Anya Cocolova, his best friend from Wales. She's hot tempered and fiery and would love to cause him trouble for a day.

4. Chibodee Crockett (http://i51.tinypic.com/vmzx3p.jpg), THE DREAM OF NEO-AMERICA!!! He is... okay he beats out Domon and Allenby both in terms of hotheaded brash reckless decisions. Also he is very proud of being a self-made man and has a lot of pride in AMERICA and the AMERICAN DREAM and as you can see, sometimes his fists catch on fire.

5. Argo Gulskii (http://i54.tinypic.com/n6b3i1.jpg), Neo-Russia's fighter. He is the quietest dude in the Shuffle Alliance, also the BIGGEST (he's like 7-foot-something srsly). He's got a permanent B| face going on and used to be a pirate, but he cares like super much about his friends and is a decent guy.

1. Jack Drake. Tim's father, badass, archaeologist and businessman. Lots of struggling-to-be-a-good-dad issues, and protective-- he threatened Batman when he found out Tim was Robin. Lots of issues there.

2. Bruce Wayne/Batman! Tim's mentor/adoptive father. He really means a lot to Tim, and he looks up to him way much. Also he's Batman. /needs to add nothing more

3. Titans! Especially Bart/Kid Flash or Cassie/Wonder Girl, or even Steph/Batgirl (not a Titan but sshh), but any of his other teammates/allies/friends in general would be so amazingly welcome. c:



Character: Rachel Berenson
Canon: Animorphs
Candidates: These have the bonus of not needing much review, being all minor characters!

1. Sara or Jordan! Her adorable little sisters of whom she is pretty darn protective.

2. Dan, her father. He's a news anchor, and he's a pretty awesome dad. They're close!

3. Naomi, her mom. Who is badass. She tried to fight a bear (Rachel...) to protect her two youngest. She's also stubborn, a lawyer, and has a strained relationship with Rachel.
