Decreasing app cycle frequency may help, too. It gives each crop more time to get settled into the game before more arrive.

I agree. I know three months seems like a long time, but in that space not a lot of stuff really gets done, and I know that stuff gets pushed aside delayed because of upcoming app periods, since its usually a mess when plots collide with podpops.

So maybe instead of every three months, its every 4 or 6 months?

Maybe try to work in a plot in that 3 to 6 month span so that they're already exposed to one? I know we have a few on the plot calendar right now, so perhaps one of those could be used to help give new characters/new muns a steady ground as far as the game's considered?

Yeah, with the laid-back speed of the game, you don't get settled in quite as fast as you would in a faster game.

This times a million. I often find that in between trying to participate in a plot and podpop itself (which I often have my own character to intro and all), I don't find as much time to do open posts and such as I'd like. Longer spaces would mean more free time that folks could use for more CR-buildy kinda RP.
