Archaeology, Natural Disasters and You!
Synopsis: When a natural phenomena that happens once every three hundred years threatens to wipe out the last traces of a dead civilization, a small archaeology crew sets out to find and bring back as much as they can before the site is destroyed.
Plot Length: Two weeks. September 16-30.
Plot Size: 10
Plot Location: Off ship mission
You do not need to have an archaeologist character to sign up! Just be aware that combat is highly, highly unlikely unless there's wild animals or something. If your character is willing to help out, fake like they are helping out, or back seat drive, they are welcome.
-We will be including general notes for location/area/artifacts. Feel free to world build yourself and add onto what we have down as a framework. Traps, puzzles, mysteries are all welcome and up to you. Meanwhile you have what's essentially a doomsday drawing near on this planet, so conditions planetside should get worse as time goes by.
-We also have a call for anyone who wants to npc the bug alien crew members who will be helping with the dig. Basic information for the NPCS will be provided on the actual plot post as it gets closer.
-ICLY, they will be planetside for only 3 days or so.
-The dig site is not only home to the traces of a dead civilization but to an old battleground of offworld races and home races from this planet. More than one type of artifact can be found. We might be able to bring back artifacts as long as they don't break the game or enable godmoding. Check with the mods first before the plot is over.
