THE COSTUMES AND TRANSFORMATIONS

this is the first bit of info and developing I was talking about! Transformation will work as in most magical girl shows. They will be given magical silver rings with a colored gem to push in the center, while calling...well, the truth is, it's simply a voice activated device. They have to say something, whether it's 'by the power of flowers!' or 'screw this!'. Up to you, have fun with it.

Their clothes dissolve and are replaced by the uniform in a dazzling lightshow with lots of twirling that takes place in a few seconds, standard magical girl fare. The uniform itself is a bodysuit type thing with some manner of vest or jacket, as much jewelry as you see fit, and little biker shorts underneath. Shoes are your choice. Basically they're customizable beyond these basic guidelines, and the colors are...

Florale: Pale green and pink
Bubblegum: Pink, blue, and yellow
Songweaver: Lilac, light magenta, soft colors
Daydreamer: Pale blue and orange
Purity: Silver and blue
Adorability: Red and pink
Diamond: Purple and white
Rainbow: ...Rainbow. Of course.
Beastfriend: Tan and dark green
Angel: White and yellow

So as a thought for powers, in addition to the big combination rainbow blast, could the orb fire certain colors of light as weaker themed attacks, or as magic buff stuff for the other teammates?

Hmm...a tentative list:

Red - The heat of embarassment! A blast of this makes the bad guy get red-faced and ashamed for the crimes he's committed! Now, count up your sins!

Orange - The steadfastness of the earth! A shot of this color gives the affected Melody Militia member a temporary boost to their defenses!

Yellow - The refreshment of sunlight! A shining yellow light restores stamina to the other Melody Militia members!

Green - The glow of courage! A green aura gives other Melody Militia members a burst of determination and guts!

Blue - The soothing calm of relaxation! Get hit with the blue light, and you'll lose your will to fight!

Indigo - The knowledge of insight! Indigo light will perplex the enemy as they consider what they're doing and the why they're doing it, leaving them open to attack!

Violet - The torrent of pure emotion! Violet light scrambles the emotions of their target, leaving them conflicted and confused!

Ok! Then we'll plot something in so that Hawkmon's equipped, so he can take care of things. One of the sick girls will take a liking to him and decide he should totally have the power.

So, Sayaka's powers involve animals, I assume she can't fight them on her own.

But can she make the animals glow with magical power or something, or do the animals just magically able to take down the creatures?
