Rebellion Water Cooler

With the Rebellion coming up (the general opinion so far suggests late April, but we don't yet have a hard deadline) people are wondering what their characters can do to get involved or help overthrow the Daligig. Some characters ICly don't know what's going on yet; others do but have incomplete information; others wouldn't support the effort and yet others would try and coordinate groups. We don't want anyone to feel like they're left out because their characters haven't ICly put the pieces together, so this post is for ideas for CR-building and coordinating that will allow everyone to participate. A new survival guide is also in the works and will be put on the comms ICly, which will summarize some but not all of the information floating around.

If you have ideas for how you want your character to participate in the rebellion, this is the place to post them! If you have no idea and feel a little lost, feel free to ask others if they're interested in doing something with your character regarding this plot. If you have mini-plot ideas for getting information on the Daligig or gaining weaponry, knowledge of Stacy, so on so forth, this might be a good place to find other characters to play those out with.

A general CR-building water cooler will be coming in the next few weeks. This is mostly to figure out how everyone's going to fit into the plot to overthrow the Daligig.

Role on Ship: Intelligence, Strike Team
Skills: spying, kicking butt, morphing into animals and what not
What the Character Knows/Thinks About Rebellion: She thinks it's a damn good idea. She's tired of being jerked around and would rather the crew be able to fight for themselves.
Ideas to Get Involved: Strike Team could have a decent role in this, I'd think. Maybe that team could be a focal part of the actual rebellion, like a first strike? idk
Anything Else?: She could probably also be a decent distraction/smash things! Elephant morph, for instance, or her morph of Celena.

Character Name: Tim Drake/Red Robin
Canon: DC comics
Role on Ship: member of Engineering, Neuropathy, Programming, and a Senior Officer in Security
Skills: Stealth, sleuthing, combat, tech.
What the Character Knows/Thinks About Rebellion: He thinks it's a good idea, but tricky. He thinks the way they're doing it-- ie with the fake out beginning-- is logical. Since it's going to happen, he'd want to make sure it's organised.
Ideas to Get Involved: Security would most likely be the force that puts down the fake out rebellion, so there's that. Also, Neuropathy could surely play a role in the whole 'busting Stacy's brain free' thing. Beyond that, his skills are applicable in a lot of ways, so whatever works I guess...
Anything Else?: Nope!

Character Name: Maxine/Cyclone
Canon: DC Comics
Role on Ship: runs the Clothier. :| which is not particularly useful in this.
Skills: flight, combat, control of air flow
What the Character Knows/Thinks About Rebellion: She's uncertain. She wants to trust them but doesn't know if she can. She'd want to help, though, even if she's unsure.
Ideas to Get Involved: Maxine would be willing to help basically anywhere. I don't really have any particular ideas for her involvement right now sob
Anything Else?: Nothinggg

Also fun fact: I finish the school year early April so I should have aaaall of the free time. B)

Rachel should totally try to go grizzly on a Daligig, I mean.

If Howard knows that Tim = Red Robin by then, he could be the one to get Security in on Command's idea that they could get the keys from the Daligig.

ooh, yeah, that could work! We should be able to do that? Since we still had a few threads with them planned, and so Howard can have figured that out by then, I'd think.

Z may want to work with Tim on this at some point :|a. Not sure whether I want to have him as part of the "rebellion" or the "takedown force" yet -- it would be understandable to have him down for either, since he's part of Security.

Alternatively, if he's with the smashing things team, Rachel/Z smashing duo :Db

ooh yes, I'd love that! Tim will, naturally, want to try and get involved wherever he can, so there should be opportunities for that, later, if nothing else. :)

This would also be good. They could have fun with that. :D

That sounds great! I'd be interested in seeing them interact again, and that's definitely something they could work together on. Maybe if Neuropathy does take up that role, she could team up with them there?
