Ongoing City project

Hello hello!

So Tarrant's been working on a little project as of late which involves raising and releasing fish into the Kohaku River in the City. This means that once the population stabilizes, the crew will have a low-maintenance source of fresh protein to dip into, should they have a hankering (there are some fish in the river right now, but they are mostly one species: carp. Tarrant will be raising his own lines of fish to be hardier, tastier, grow to adulthood faster, etc).

However, if there are any characters that are out there who:
* Like caring for animals
* Are passionate about fishing
* Might have valuable feedback about which fish to stock (cooks, for instance)
* Like hanging out around rivers or have an interest in managing wildlife
* Just want to keep an eye on Tarrant

I think this could also be an interesting little opportunity for CR. And also something for characters who don't specialize in punching dudes to do to improve the City. So let me know if this sounds like something your character(s) would be interested in :)

Carson is pretty passionate about fishing. He loves it. I'm happy volunteering him for it.

Cool. Maybe Carson can volunteer to take a sampling of the fish once they're released into the river, get a sense of where they're migrating to/living? If he fishes a lot, he'd be a good person to keep an eye on the river.

Yeah, he's pretty passionate. The day of his canon-point, he wanted to go fish on Lantea's Mainland.

That sounds like a great idea. Just track their patterns and manage where the best fishing spots are and stuff?

I think Lina's only interest will be in catching and eating, but she will still be very happy to hear about this.

(Also someone should make sure she doesn't exhaust the whole supply with her usual eating habits, ahaha...)

Crucible is certainly one that often hangs out around and in the river itself. Could do something with him perhaps?

Hmm, yeah. I think like Carson, he could provide some valuable river study data.

He could definitely help with that regard. He can also speak, hold and calm animals as well as speak with animals if that's of any use?

Hmm. Speaking with the fish isn't going to be particularly useful to Tarrant, since he's not into establishing rapport with his food, but Bight can certainly do that on his own.

That's understandable indeed. Could be used to tell if anything was wrong with them or the river though I suppose?

If you'd like? Idk, I'm not planning on having anything go wrong with the river, and Tarrant would probably notice if there was a systemic problem.

Yeah, Ranulf approves wholeheartedly of this project and will help in any way he can. Not that he knows anything about fish aside from how to catch and eat them. >_>

Actually! Tarrant's been looking for people who are fish connoisseurs, so to speak. He doesn't eat normal food, so it's hard for him to tell which fish are tastiest. If Ranulf would like to help taste-test them, it would be very helpful :)
