Evil Deeds Plotting

Hey peeps, Saphie here, just tossing up a post for the planning of Evil Deeds plot, the introduction of the villainship. It's likely going to start around June 20th or so.

What we've decided to do for this plot is have the mods do the set up with a distress call from the GIA and the Tapestry supposedly kicking out who's supposed to go on the missions, and the rest is up to you guys. The villainship will be attacking some GIA member worlds, moons, and colonies in the same star system and the GIA will send out distress calls because of the nefarious nature of these particular villains and the fact they're getting slammed in a lot of places at once. Each villain player or npcer will come up with their own evil plot, since they're the ones that know their respective villains best, and so there will be several miniplots running concurrently. How many characters can participate in each miniplot is up to villain player--they can have as many characters in the plot as they think they can handle, be it three characters, or thirty.

This is a great plot to structure things so they suit your character well. For instance, if you have someone who isn't a fighter but is more the type to solve mysteries, you can grab a few people and temp the kind of villain that would leave puzzles for the crew members that they can solve to stop the crime (like the Riddler, for instance). If you want combat, you can temp a fighty villain. Heck, you can even have Godzilla stomping around a city, or have your characters head to a campground to fight Jason Voorhees. Any villain can be temped or played here by anyone.

If there isn't a canon villain that you know how to play well that suits your needs, you can make up an OC one as well.

So this post is a plotting post for folks that have a villain they want to do a mini-plot with or have ideas for a mini-plot and want to gauge interest (like if you want to have characters fight the gremlins from gremlins and want to see if others would be willing to join in and help npc them). You're allowed to go really big with this and have the villains be very destructive as this is their grand entrance and they'd want to put on a show.

Here's the background page on the villainship and a list of the claimed villains so far.

General Maranta | Dragonlance

[personal profile] yoursacrificeisforme 2012-06-15 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Offering up one (1) General Maranta as an arrogant, murderous asshole who will look for ways to backstab anyone he works with because that's how he rolls. He's a very intelligent, powerful sorceror who is a major creeper towards ladies (I will ask the players involved first, and trigger warnings will be used where necessary) and tried to make himself a clone army out of his own people even if it meant the extinction of the race. He prefers to stay out of the thick of things and let the Queen's Own, an elite group of sivak draconians, take care of the fighting for him.

It could be really fun to have him find out about a magical artifact being on Stacy. The same one that he used to make the clones. He will want to use it again on the draconian mooks (Queen's Own along with a good number of baaz and kapak draconians) working for him on the Villainship.

Additional info: baaz and kapaks generally don't like each other much. That can be used to the crew of Stacy's advantage.

There's already plans for him to creep on Veronica so she can punch him in the face. We'll keep that thread just between them, and will mark it appropriately.

Space Pirate Supply Raid

Wingus here - just a straightforward idea, here: Ridley gathers up a bunch of space pirates, and goes raiding some GIA colonies (because that worked out SO WELL for him in canon) for supplies, and get beaten down by a small squad of crew. Somewhere in the five-person range, depending on their powers.

Also open to a little bit of villainous backup, if anyone wants to butt heads with Ridley on a allied-team sense.

Daido Katsumi | Kamen Rider W

[personal profile] enjoyyourhell 2012-06-15 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
Wingus again - Katsumi here is a mercenary by trade, and used to playing by his own rules on missions - wouldn't mind having him work under some of the bigger villains, doing their dirty work, and slandering the title of "Kamen Rider" across various GIA places.

Would be interested in having him encounter some of Shoutarou's CR, due to the matching Driver, and base design styles of Katsumi's Eternal vs. Shou's Joker.

The Joker | DC Comics

[personal profile] thelastlaugh 2012-06-15 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
Saphie here and I'll be bringing in the Joker for this little shindig. Part of the plot involving him is closed because of something special a player has requested to do, but the Joker is the type to have quite a few pots on the fire so I wanted to have one of his many crimes he's doing for this plot to be that there's a creepy funhouse trap-thing that has innocent hostages inside that a group of crew members has to puzzle their way through some completely nonsense puzzles/jokes to free and get out alive.

This is meant to be geared more towards nonpowered (or low-powered) thinky types that can't just do a dungeon bypass where they bust down the walls. It would be very small, about 3-4 people, because that's all I can really handle.

Cut Man | Ruby Spears' Mega Man

[personal profile] acutabovetherest 2012-06-15 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
Wingus here, and this is Cut Man. He is a henchman type. He is also very very bad at what he does. He is up to support any baddie that needs some bodies to do grunt work that aren't generic mooks, and to be horribly beaten-up by the good guys. Or to cause himself to horribly be beaten up by the environment. Life just won't cut the guy a break.
greatflamingeyebrows: (oh please save me from mean old jack)

Aku | Samurai Jack

[personal profile] greatflamingeyebrows 2012-06-15 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty flexible with Aku, since he's quite powerful and also a shapeshifter. Taking over a city and the crew needs to try to hold him off long enough? Already taken over a city, and the crew needs to free it without getting caught by him? Disguised, he leads them on a wild goose chase or tricks them into destroying something important? I can work with whatever!
force_and_style: (through the window)

Xykon | Order of the Sticl

[personal profile] force_and_style 2012-06-15 12:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Xykon pretty much leans towards a massive throw-down. He doesn't do elaborate plans or have any patience for scheming and tactics. His style is to show up and cause a ton of pain just because he can. He's an ideal opponent for more powerful crew-members.

Scar | The Lion King

[personal profile] teethandambitions 2012-06-15 12:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Everybody knows Scar, right? Enormous narcissist, power hungry, etc etc?

He's also a lion so I'm sure some interesting jokes can be cracked.

BUT ANYWAY his real forte is doublecrossing things/people and being a manipulative jerk. Personally I think it would be interesting for him to doublecross both ship crews and try to play them against the middle for his own benefit.

Oh, and this was my speculation about what he'd be like as a shipmate.

...I think Maranta and Scar should have some interaction. Maranta would underestimate him because he's a lion.

Not for me, but...

[personal profile] electricman 2012-06-15 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
...anyone play enough inFamous to consider Bertrand, Bloody Mary, Alden Tate, or Sasha for Cole?

Or some other villain that he could go up against (Electro, Kratos)?

James Trademore/Kamen Rider Strike | Kamen Rider Dragon Knight

[personal profile] makesadeal 2012-06-16 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Kyle here with his only villain character (Though he doesn't consider himself a villain per se, just a surviver.), James Trademore also known as Kamen Rider Strike. He's charming, charismatic, manipulative, and loyal to his employer (and to a lesser extent certain allies) all at once. He also is a damn good fighter. He wouldn't mind killing if it served his goal of survival or the higher up villains' own goals, though he usually acts alone even if he has teamed up with fellow Riders before so he can work with others.

Would be interested in any of the CR for this guy, but especially Billy and Shoutarou. Anyway, any heroes who go against Strike will have a tough time in fighting him.

[personal profile] inkblotbabe 2012-06-16 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
This is Inque

She is a shapeshifting fluid villain who mostly does work for hire. However she is very flexible (See what I did there?)

She is a consummate professional, able to use her powers to tear apart large machinery, sneak about undetected, and has come closer to killing a version of Batman then most villains in the Batuniverse by forcing herself into his throat to strangle him.

She could be causing trouble for a planet reliant on a mechanical facility and need to be stopped. She could even try to smuggle herself back to Stacy to cause some trouble.

[personal profile] loudestlady 2012-06-16 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
This is the Scream Queen.

She's a quiet henchmen, barely speaking if at all, but when she opens wide she has super sonic banshee screaming attacks powerful enough to cause not only hearing damage and shatter glass, but to blast open concrete and stone.

She's not much of a schemer though. She's a follower by nature and only took up villainy because of being bullied in high school and falling in love with her Psychiatrist Dr. Johnathan Crane.

So destruction, working with other villains to brawl with heroes. Whatever you'd like.

This is Kyle.

A follower in villainy you say? She might be useful to James. Actually I have an idea if you want James/Strike and Scream Queen to work together. Contact me via email or AIM.

HI HI MEATSHIP!

It's Harley Quinn! The Joker's main squeeze who's out on her own and out of her mind! She has Olympic level athleticism and is immune to toxins thanks to a little chemical martini from her gal pal poison Ivy. And she's never without her own little bag of comical tricks ready to cause chaos and destruction all in the name of fun and laughter.

Want to be befuddled, confused, annoyed and attacked? Harley's your girl. She may not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer at times but don't underestimate her or you'll be on your butt faster then a fatty at Walmart in a handicapped cart.

Red Mist/ The Mother Fucker| Kickass 2

[personal profile] formerly_mist 2012-06-18 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
This is Red Mist, now recently known as Motherfucker. If there was ever an agent of chaos, somebody who was willing to whatever it take to be the best villain possible, it's him. By whatever it takes I mean cheat, steal, brutalize, murder, torture, rape and make an example of. This is what he wants to do since losing his dad, and he has a hell of a grudge, especially since his last confrontation with Kick Ass and Hit girl wound up with him losing his right hand bodyguard and almost all his men, not to mention landing him hospitalized.

He's been brought back along with his crew thanks to the villain ship, and he's found out Hit Girl, responsible for a lot of his failure, is on Stacy's ship. So it goes without saying that along with creating chaos? He's about to go hardcore on her and her friends. Her'll be smart enough to learn about what she can do first, and then he'll strike.

O'Malley/Omega and Doc/Medical Super Private First Class Frank "Doc" DuFresne

[personal profile] oblivionftw_imamedic 2012-06-21 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey guys, it's Adam and I just wanted to possibly say PREPARE FOR OBLIVION!!!

O'Malley has been pulled from right before getting blasted by the EMP in Reconstruction, while Doc got pulled from the end of Revelation.

He'll be interested to see that Church survived, will probably try to disregard Grif, and will decide that he'll either try to control Church to try and make an Alpha, or try to take over Stacy in order to grind every living thing to dust. It would be interesting for Cortana to encounter something that truly considers itself evil and wants to destroy all life for no other reason than the Lulz.
