Calling all spies!

So, Shaela and I have been working on doing spy stuff with Kang and Marco, and we’re wondering if anyone would be interested in joining up a small spy network. Basically, how this would work is that Kang would be at the head of it – essentially directing the spies to where they need to go. He’d be the one to decide who to approach, and talk to them about joining up. (Although if we get enough people, he might appoint someone else as head and give orders to them)

Kang will also be letting Leon know that he’s got the beginnings of a spy network, but he won’t be saying who is in it (Possibly this could lead to some overlap with the Strike Team, depending on what people want to do).

As for what they’d do! It wouldn’t necessarily be spying-on-fellow-crewmembers stuff (and even then, that’d probably be just suspicious individuals and whatnot). A lot of would be like for missions, and gathering intel and that sort of thing.

So yes! Basically we’re interested in finding out if anyone might want to be involved in something like this. (Just keep in mind that potentials will be spied on themselves before being approached. And that we’d need to find ways for Kang - or one of the current spies – to realise that they might be suited for spy work in the first place.)

The blind part would be aproblem if speed was of the essence in unfamiliar ground, yes. Mobility is a massive thing (of which I hope to soon rectify with cane-retraining).

The broken verbal English...yeah... Again, progressing on that. Would writing work? His penmanship is...rough but legible as is his spelling. But he's had more actual investment in writing than speech overall. (Writing letters daily for nearly a year, primarily).

Stealth? Aural stealth he's got down like nothin'. If he doesn't want people to hear him, they ain't gonna hear him. Illusion wise...True. Something decently big and/or widespread, that can't be kept up for long. But his own skin pigments are indeed under his own control. i.e. if he wanted, he could go very literally, completely transparent as glass. (Generally that's denoting "Happy" but it has been used in other situations).

Hm. ::ponders:: Scent tracking he could do. Remembering and relaying aural sounds/conversations via Memory-dealio, he could do.

Just thoughts.

Writing could work, yes, but they would be limiting what's written down as much as possible, as that leaves a paper trail that can be traced. This spy group is not going to be public knowledge, for obvious reasons.

I checked his powers, and didn't see anything about him being able to control his skin color/turn himself completely transparent. As such, I'd rather it not be used.

Really, it seems like he'd be more suited for tracking purposes, not spying purposes, with the scent stuff.
