Not an answer, per se, but a potential introduction to the new guy moment - I'd love to have Chase fight Kon in there.

He's not in Kon's league strength, speed or overall powerwise, and would get his ass kicked around a lot - but he's also an uber-regenerator, tough, and a lot better in raw skill, and has magic weapons.

Basically, I'd love to have a prolonged fight where Chase utterly gets beaten down and around, and keeps refusing to stay down, maybe to buy other people time, if you're up for it.
