System Shock: More information regarding powers/pod attacks/game planning

Hey guys! I've been working on an additional guide that will hopefully help everyone with this plot and answers a few Q&A better. Also some SUPER AWESOME STUFF THAT YOU CAN VOTE ON!:

Powers
I think I might have made it a bit confusion so here's the basic gist of it (and continue to ask me stuff as you go, I will do my best to answer it).
- If your magical/supernatural power(s) makes you able to function it will work at its lowest setting. So magical girls could not transform for example but they wouldn't die either.
- Someone who uses supernatural spells to see and hear would still be able to see and hear, they wouldn't be able to cast spells.
- Anything magically enchanted that doesn't fit the above requirements is not working for this moment (early next week there will be attacks on the dampening nodes that will be organized to restore people their powers)
- Anything technological work at a lower setting, and sometimes malfunctions (depending on what you want to do).

Your Character's Safety & Damages to the Unsafe Zones
- There are already a few safe zones being set up. Follow this link to the thread below to post the safe zones. For the first part of the plot, these will be the areas characters can be that won't get attacked for the most part.
- Damages to the unsafe zones will be kept to places players are okay with use damaging. You can submit anything that belongs to your characters before we destroy them. A few city things, like the great wall of China, part of Kang's Tavern, Awesomeporium and some of the Awesomeworld Park will be destroyed, for example, because either they were not created by a player, or the players already gave their okay for some destruction happening. So don't worry if your characters leaving a place, it most certainly doesn't means that automatically it will be destroyed. This is a war situation but we don't want to destroy everything you've been building since the beginning.
-Unless you're cool with this. That's awesome and we'll most certainly help you in your destructive endeavors.
- Characters will never get killed unless they ask for me, as stated previously.

Pod Attacks
Okay now that I have mod permission from my fellow mods to do this, I now present you, the players, with very cruel options.

Now let me preface that 1) We will not accept any characters that stand strong chances of being apped in the future. 2)Anyone chosen for deaths will be voted by the game as a whole. So no sudden surprises. We'd never be that cruel to you or take potential castmates away from you.

That being said:
- We are looking for a few Red Shirt nominations for pod related deaths. We are allowed this following:
- Very very obscure characters that do not stand a chance of being apped
- Redshirts in their respective fandoms (and again no one popular who stands a chance of being apped
- Headcanon family members of your character that you are okay with them dying. So like say I would want Lash's dad to die since there is no canon proof of him, I could do that.
- Give us your ideas on the post below!

ROBOTS!
- Are you a robot and/or have robot parts and would love to have your character be taken over by SHODAN at some point for drama? Please ask us below we'd be happy to do this.

MORE ROBOTS!
- Later next week, SHODAN is going to increase her attacks with more robots as the crew starts winning. Do YOU have robots you'd like to submit from cannons which are not in the plot yet? Please post below with suggestions (and wiki links, if possible).

Future Plot Stuff
Just so people have an idea what to expect from the plot:
- Standing next week, there will be attacks on the depowering nodes. You can sign up for teams that will do this (see the post below) to make repowered zones around the ship as they fight back bit by bit.
- SHODAN will send other robots to attack the team as they get stronger.
- Depowering SHODAN will also required a few teams, with a main one attacking her themselves. SHODAN being depowered will require the entire ship to help out.

Thus far, the interior of the Quarter is looking like a Safe Zone at the moment. It would take a rather lot for non-ship scale weapons to get through after all.

If you have places/buildings/stuff that belongs to your characters that you would like seeing damaged, please, please post here it would help us out a lot! Again, you don't have to have everything destroyed. Like "Can they wreck this part of the shop / destroy this thing, etc."

Ruffnut's Tower of Terror should be properly shredded, still standing, still livable...but they'll have plenty of things to fix for the next few months.

Pedro and I have decided the Outsider's hotel should get torn up too, still standing but...well a heartbreaking amount of damage. Probably unsafe to live in.

Destroying the Depowering Nods Missions

There will be as many teams as there are players who want in (Please limit yourself to only one of your characters in these missions, however). Simply post here with the character you would like to help out restore everyone's powers. Keep in mind there will be battles. >B]b

All the teams will be random to allow for new and interesting CR.

I will close this on the 14th and give out teams by random on the 15th.
