Fauxbellion Signups!

Chi here! As you saw in the last post, the Fauxbellion is officially starting on Wednesday the 2nd. This is a bit shorter notice than we normally like to do things, with the plot lasting a week and having the ability to be backdated there is still plenty of time to figure out what you want your character to do and sign up.

Plot Summary:
Allenby is going to lead a fake rebellion to try and kick the Daligig off the ship. There will be fighting, this time without Stacy intervening to protect the Daligig. Council will intervene, however, and order the remainder of the crew to assist the Daligig in putting down the rebellion. Most of the fighting will take place between crew members, but both sides will know that it's all part of the ruse. Many of the rebel characters will be brigged following the fauxbellion's failure, but this will still allow them to participate in upcoming plots.

There's no set number of slots for this plot - these signups are mainly to get a tally of who and how many will be on each side and get some discussion going.

Actually I'll put Kon on Daligig's side even though he tried to save Howard from Punishment. I think he'd pretend he has seen the light with the Daligig and he'd work with some people with really explosive kinda powers on the other side to make it look sufficiently violent and believable.

John's sticking with Sherlock, so he's not fauxbelling. He will, however, be wading in and slapping band-aids on any crew boo-boos for either side.

Since Allenby's leading the fauxbellion, Ax should probably stay openly loyal to the Council so that Weapons/Defense isn't left without a head.

And Jonas...well, I've got no real preference on him at the moment. Anyone want to volunteer their Programmer to "take over" the department if Jonas fauxbels?

Jamie is fauxbelling.

Spinelli is not, but will be utterly useless in actually trying to enforce anything since he is a terrible fighter. If someone on the fauxbell side would like a very one sided fight as a temporary 'victory' before they get taken down, let me know.

Lina is fauxbelling, and can pull some punches with weaker spells and various magic tricks.

Shoutarou is fauxbelling. I think the only thing I had planned for him was assisting the Rangers in dealing with Lash. Wouldn't mind a chance for him to bust some Daligig in Punchy's honor, though.

Veronica, as a department head will side with the sympathizers, but will be spending most of her time over the month working on a special project to give everyone a hand on the big finale. (Namely reprogramming a bunch of robots to give the crew at large some expendable mooks. Save for the actual discovery of the robots, and enlisting a little help with the reprogramming part, and the actual reveal of them toward the end, I'm thinking the actual programming stuff can get handwaved.)

Nightwing and Angie are faking siding with the Daligig. Dick mostly because his diplomatic abilities may be useful afterward. (Even though the Daligig know he's not incredibly happy with them, he is known for doing what's good for people at large.)

Faiza is staying neutral and the medbay is neutral ground. She doesn't care which side people are on, she'll fix you up. (She would, admittedly, prefer it if medical people stayed out, but she understands that's not always necessary.)

Sam will probably end up siding with the Daligig. Schmuz is keeping his head down and will come back up when the Daligig are gone, thanks.

Morgan is staying neutral as part of the Medical Department. Rainbow Dash has no idea what's going on and Lupin will end up fake-siding if he's pushed.

Stephen is siding with the Daligig, or at least appearing to. If he can figure out ways to gum up the works in the fauxbellion's favor, without it being obvious, he will do so.

Ellyn is heartily throwing in with the fauxbellion.

Maxim is too new to know what's going on, and Alastirra just gives a crap about her garden. She will stay there, defend it, and accord it neutral territory. Maxim? Maxim just likes a good fight, and I doubt he gives a hoot about who is fighting what so long as he gets to fight. This means that he can be manipulated. So.

Speaking of, Maxim caught Allenby's channel post, and thus has thrown his lot in with the fauxbellion, because it flat out offered him that chance to fight he wants.

Neither of my guys are joining either side. Artoo is too new to really know what's going on, so he'll probably just hang out in Programming the whole time and make sure stuff gets done.

Clef - if the actual medics are okay with this - will temporarily head to Medical to replace any healers who have decided to join the fight, so he'll be neutral.

Well, as soon as the faux-rebels actually land a few blows on the Daligig that get through, the Daligig will be looking for whoever fiddled with Stacy's programming. I figure that Anwei can be the fall guy because she was a part of that mission, and also has met with some of the 'rebels.'
