Heeeeey everybody. Funk (Jim Raynor's player) here with character #2: Kira Yamato, the protagonist of giant mecha anime Gundam SEED.

Kira is a genetically-tinkered-with computer programmer / mecha pilot, though he doesn't always like it. He's a crazy-good programmer and an ace pilot, though he really sucks at arguing back to lecture-spouting final bosses. Seriously, his arguments really do boil down to "No, YOU'RE wrong!"

His most important skills include the ability to always be in the moral right no matter the situation because the writers say so, dammit, which in combination with his overpowered Gundam has led to the fan name "Jesus" Yamato - though thankfully, as I'm taking him from right before Gundam SEED Destiny starts there won't be too much of that - and his power to be accompanied by ridiculously catchy Japanese electro-pop whenever he's doing something cool.


He's kind of shy, but I'm really looking forward to playing him. :D

Also, he is apparently dismayed by peoples' choice of condiments.

Here's Sair with number five and an OC this time. This is Selene Jones, AKA Dream Weaver. Unfortunately she's a bit on the hesitant side to reveal her powers, so most people will probably just know her as Selene until she feels a dire need to reveal herself.

Got two last characters n this round, they'll fill up my six app slots. Say hello to:

VEGA OBSCURA (Zoids: New Century Zero)

Vega's eleven years old and a child prodigy when it comes to piloting Zoids, giant animal mecha that are used in fighting for sport (at least, these days) in his world. He's going to be looking for his (a uberpowered tyrannosaur with an attitude problem), and when he gets bored, probably poking his nose into everybody's business and saying "Whatcha doin'?" a lot.

SHARP TONGUE (OC)

Sharp Tongue is one of those sentient raptors you guys have been threatened with. She's a shaman in training and knows a lot about raptor medicine and lore. Sharp is mostly quiet, serious, and does the "I'm surrounded by idiots" thing a lot. She'll probably call you "pinkskin" and snort at your inferior human-ness. :P

This is Kuroi (player of everyone's favorite hyper blonde mad scientist, Wyn Callahan), joining the party of more-new-characters-involving-robots, bringing Marcus Wright from Terminator Salvation onto the meatship adventure! He's very unhappy about this; see icon.

Basically, he's a convicted murderer who donated/sold his body to science and became a Terminator with a human brain/nervous system and heart. He wakes up in the future and get saved from CERTAIN DEATH by a kid named Chekov Kyle Reese. Long story short, Kyle gets kidnapped by Skynet, Marcus decides to go rescue him, and he gets blown up by a landmine and taken prisoner by Batman John Connor and the Resistance because that exposes his shiny new metal endoskeleton! He's being taken from riiiiiiight after this, actually, so no more movie plot for you.

Personality-wise, he's a complete badass kind of quiet and anti-social, with a side order of newfound existential angst (not that he'd ever let people know). He already woke up covered in weird gunk in the future once this week (it's so not his week), so at this point he's going to be more exasperated than anything with the idea. Anyway, I have tl;dr-ed enough about this dude from a 'splode-y summer action movie enough now. Look for him in the podpop! \o/

...Is there any limits on the size of crew/podlings? I've began wondering how big Stacy's hallways are and how large a creature could be before it was too big.

I'm not saying i'm bringing anyone else in yet, but it's kind of a future reference thing.
