WHAT UP PLAYERS. Anders here with the biweekly plot discussion post. ( Here's how it works... )Please hang on a minute before responding while I get all the subthreads in order. GET IN HERE GET IN HERE GO GO GO

Natural Born Ghyyler doesn't seem to be moving along very quickly, so I have a question for those involved: would you like to handwave the outcome and backtag? There is no posting order, if that is what's holding any of you back. There is information regarding the Ghyyl that some may find useful for their characters during the True!bellion (and opportunities for more plots connected to the over-arching plot) and this ICly is over by the time that starts. EDIT: Alright, so here's the plan. If everyone is available this weekend, we can finish it up then? I have Friday night, and the entirety of Saturday and Sunday off, so I'll have plenty of time to NPC for it. If we do finish it up this weekend, that means everyone needs to do at least three tags a day, and we will not be sticking to a posting order. It can be completed relatively quickly.

Hi, everyone! Chi here with the biweekly plot discussion post. ( Basically, here's how it works... )As always, please wait until the post has come to a complete stop before unfastening your safety restraints. DONE! Go ahead and post. :3

Hi, everyone! Chi here. As you're probably aware, there have been a lot of changes made to the calendar since the last discussion post, so with that in mind I bring you your regular biweekly discussion post. (Sorry it's a little late, eheh...) ( Basically, here's how it works... )As always, please wait until I've finished setting up the threads before posting. DONE! Go ahead and post!

Hey, everyone! Chi here on behalf of the mods; it's time for our biweekly plot discussion post. This time, there are a couple of issues that I'd like to address. First of all, you'll notice that there are a lot of upcoming plots here that do not currently have a designated plot-runner. Don't worry! Lisa is writing up info for those so that they can be taken on by anyone, after which we'll put them to a discussion and find someone to run them. This may mean assigning some of them to mods to run, but more likely we'll open them up for players to step in and do so. This also goes for Hello Again, which will be occurring as planned after some reworking. So, keep an eye out for updates on that! Additionally, with the Rebellion plot wrapping up in June we are going to be looking for more player plots over the summer and into the fall, as we plan to take a bit of a plot-break then before heading into Endgame. Endgame will probably start up around December, at which point player plots will no longer be feasible. So, get them in while you still can! With that said, I now bring you your regularly-scheduled Plot Discussion: ( Basically, here's how it works... )Please wait until all the threads are up before posting. DONE! Go ahead and post!
|
Hey everybody! This is Zoki on behalf of the plot mods. I know many of you are focusing on organizing the upcoming rebellion, but I just wanted to remind you that player plot submissions remain open! They can even be run during this time, though we'd like to ask that things be kept small for now---15 to 20 characters or less is fine. Basically, we'd like you to get rolling and have some fun here! Now Le Resistance is still the main thing building up, so plotting for that is welcome (and encouraged) here too! There will be a thread for that down below. With that said, let's get rolling, with a reminder of the plot rules and procedures! ( Plot discussion! )Please wait for the mods to finish posting threads for currently approved plots from the next two months before posting. [Now open for posting!]

Basically, here's how it works: These posts will provide a place to discuss upcoming plots, propose plot ideas to your fellow players, and generally just brainstorm and organize for things. You will be allowed to volunteer to help OOCly with plots as well. Note, however, that these threads will not be a place to sign up your characters for plots. Those posts will go up on their own before the plot in question starts. Plot posts will typically go up once every two weeks. (Typically late-ish every other Friday night). What you can do:• Discuss upcoming plots (whose threads will be posted soon after this post goes up) and volunteer to help OOCly • Propose plot ideas to the game at large. (Use the form from the plot suggestion post to make things easier) • "Adopt" a plot from the plot suggestion post (linked below). If there is a plot on the plot suggestion post you'd like to see run, start a thread for it in here. • Propose ongoing setting changes. For example, you can propose a new crew "team" like Starfighter Command and the Outsiders, or perhaps starting a new service for the crew like the blacksmiths and the clothier's shop. Getting a standard plot approved or a change implemented:• All plots that take place off-ship or involve at least a moderate number of people must go through mod approval first. If you're not sure, email the plot email and see if it would qualify. • While we'd like you to use these posts to discuss your potential plots with your fellow players, if you'd prefer not to include it in plot discussion posts for any particular reason (for example, particular details of the plot you'd like to keep hidden), posting your plot in the plot discussion posts is not necessary to get a plot approved • To get a plot approved, use the form below and email it to trans9plots@gmail.com, along with links to any plot discussion threads you believe have relevant ideas. You will be emailed with an approval once the mods have reviewed it and find it satisfactory. Once you have received an approval, you will be asked to help us determine the best time to run the plot. Please keep in mind that plots are not always slotted in order they were received, as sometimes their timing is based on the needs and wants of the playerbase or has to be scheduled around podpops and gamewide plots. Plot Name: Preferred Date: Synopsis: Plot Length: Plot Size: Plot Location: (On-ship, Off-ship Mission) Plot Runner: If it's on a world, what is the setting? If it's on the ship, how will it affect the setting? If there's a mission, what is the mission objective? Who will this plot involve and affect? What long-term effects are you hoping this plot will have?Getting a private plot approved:• A private plot--which is a plot consisting of up to 8 characters or can be finished in under a week, and (in either case) already has a predetermined set of involved players--must be sent to the mods for approval, though it doesn't need to be announced in anyway other than to inform involved players. •Private plots can consist of any type of small plot, including small off-ship missions requiring only a small number of people. If you are unsure if your plot counts as a private plot, email the mods and we will try to clarify for you. • To get a private plot approved, follow the normal procedure for sending in a plot for approval, save that you should note somewhere (preferably in the beginning) that it is a private plot and what characters/players are involved. An important note:• Plots do not necessarily always have to have a concrete mission structure. If, for instance, you'd like to have something as simple as a supply run happen as an excuse to thread characters somewhere other than the ship, this is entirely permissible. So is, for instance, proposing shore leaves or simple missions at places like space stations or colonies, or even on nature worlds that have resources that can be gathered. Plots or plotty situations can be as simple or complicated as you like, ranging from goal-orientated to creating an excuse for characters to have somewhere new to thread. Hey, all! This is the start of a new weekly thing we've devised to help players take a more active role in plot organization and planning. Also, for clarity's sake, in each of these posts we will be including instructions on how to get a plot approved, which have now been simplified.
