Hey, everyone, finals are coming up for me next week and I'm going to get - and already am - pretty busy. So I'm going to be slowing down my posting for a while. I'll tag in things I've already gotten started in, and I might show up in chat, but I won't get into anything new until after finals. I'll be back to full availability by the 19th.

This effects Terry and Holly.

Due to unexpected popular demand, we are going to have a mistletoe event in Trans9, that will probably pop up tonight and be taggable until the holiday plot starts in a week or so. (The holiday plot will be organized very simply and likely run into January).

Also due to popular demand, it will actually be in the comm itself, rather than the crack comm.

So, starting now, plant-like things that look like mistletoe will occasionally sprout in places throughout the ship. This will be random, and can sometimes even happen when two people are in mid conversation.

When the mistletoe is overhead, the person will be trapped in an invisible forcefield, and won't be able to escape until someone has kissed them or otherwise showed them some equivalent of affection. (Cheek kisses or a lick on the cheek from Bandit and the like will count). The mistletoe spring itself is shielded itself and can't be destroyed, the only way out is a kiss.

Why is this all happening? GLaDoS is performing whacky behavioral experiments, that's why.

As soon as I finish it, there will be a post up for people to randomly get caught around the ship with it, linked here, but you can have it sprout in random threads--obviously, just make sure your RP partner is okay with the mistletoe springing up. You have to get their permission first.

Participation is obviously not mandatory. It's just for anyone who wants to be silly.
