With ATP this Saturday at 7 PM, we're extending the app period. You now have until midnight EST on July 7th (so, practically speaking, the end of the 6th - we're trying to account for the holiday on the 4th) to get your apps in!

Hello there, newbie people! Podpop will be open from the 1st to the 7th. Just tag your character in to the podpop. (Threading there is optional. If you want to just post in one post and not thread there, you may. As this is the case, not everyone gets tagged during the podpop itself). Then tag your character into the Meet N' Greet and other characters will meet them and apprise them of the situation.

Just so that everyone remembers:

1) It's really, REALLY hard to track time while Stacy is traveling through the Bleed. Impossible, really. The characters really shouldn't be able to say "I've been awake for three months" with any certainty. Yes, even characters who can track time in their heads, naturally or through programming or training, no one can track it. Clocks and watches go all weird too -- sometimes the hands won't move at all, sometimes they'll travel at weird speeds, numbers jump strangely, etc etc. It's best just to turn time pieces off unless you're on-planet. The only real way to track time is by counting the "days" in the City, and who knows how accurate THOSE are?

2) OOCly, for the sake of player brains not melting (melting character brains is part of the fun though, so neener to them), Stacy-time is roughly half the speed RL-time. VERY roughly. So we've basically just passed about one year and six months of game-time, even though IRL we just had our third anniversary IRL.

If your character has made references to time specifically, that's okay. Brains playing tricks of them and all that. Just remember that, no, they really can't track it unless they're on a mission, which is basically the only time they stay in any reality for any length of time.

and with that, I'm bringing in this lady here. This is Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. and no that's not actually her real name. Anyway, she's Serah's older sister, and pretty BAMF. she's coming from the end of the game so she's a little bit less of an emotionless robot, but she'll still lineface at most people when she first meets them.

The General Briefing now has enough info for everyone to work with. Please read it here, before proceeding and keep in mind your characters would've been there to listen, even if not to talk.

There's more mingling/potty break if anyone wants it, now that they have the full info to chatter about as well, by request.

Then there's the "Back to the Meeting" section. This is essentially a free for all, and hopefully the last we'll have with this plot. This means not everyone might be able to get a word in edgewise, but that's what would realistically happen for so large a group. Everyone is still essentially there however, and you should treat your character not commenting to something as just being drowned out by someone else talking. There really is no other way to do this, given the number of people in the plot (like I said before, there'd be a price to pay for the size) but fortunately, it's just a small part.

When this has made some headway, some players want to have their characters suggest something that the crew might run with, and we'll move things to the last section to see if the rest of the crew agrees with those ideas.

EDIT: Last Section: The Idea Guy is now open! Please maintain posting order for that one, and tag placeholders or tell the next person to skip if your character has nothing to say.

Akino, our resident Tenaya, Devin Leven and Aqua-mun, has had a bit of a problem: lightning hit her house recently and while her computer was spared, her connection wasn't. As it stands, she's using a very unreliable connection from a neighbor and thus is calling for a slowaitus until it is fixed up. How long that'll be? She can't say ^_^;;;.
