Attention, clone-plotters.

The final part is just about ready to go up, but I want to know what we need to get there.

A commpost where they can talk to the other group? A free-for-all discussion? What do you guys need that'd be the shortest way to segue to the final fight in the clone processing center?

I was thinking a comm post, then going right to the cpc fight, with any loose ends being handwaved.

EDIT: Emailed Shard about a comm-post started by Nightwing. It'd be after the rescued groups get a chance to talk (we're handwaving that part), and allow contact with the groups left at the hotel.

It is set after the captured groups have talked which is being handwaved. Left at the hotel people can see and respond. Peeps from the ship can't see it.

So I should have posted this much earlier, but summer school has been seriously kicking my hiney. Anyhoo...

Camille (Eleven) and I recently discussed the possibility of the Master finding and breaking into the TARDIS while the Doctor is on his clone mission. From what I remember she basically gave me her blessing (because she's insane). So I'd like to work out some sort of log/plot if anyone with a character residing in or regularly visiting the TARDIS is interested. Comment and give me a heads-up as to what you think. <3<3

Also, since there seems to be a sizable cast building up here, would anyone be interested in a Who-dedicated plotting comm for Trans 9? I'm not a fan of cliquey cast stuff in games, so maybe the comm could be open to anyone interested in plotting with Who characters as well... again, comment with your thoughts, concerns, cookies, whatevs.

Hello folks of the Meatship! Ishmale THAT CHICK WHO CAN'T SPELL HER OWN HANDLE (Ishfe) popping in to hopefully start some chatter on the ooc side for a few things being brought up ICly later, or ideas of things to bring up ICly via Medical bay. I'll go by headlines:

Medical Mingling Log:

Could function part as a meeting, part as establishing how different people interact on a daily grind, and definitely would be for folks looking to get characters involved in medical making contacts and getting in touch with others in medical. Were you looking for medical training? Did your character want to pick up some tips on First Aid? By all means this would be open to anyone, coming by the 'Bay for just about any purpose.

Medic Field Training Exercises:

Sakura will be bringing this up with Dr. Henderson as something she feels needs to be done; aka taking the medics and healers and doctors who are going to be working in the field and starting them getting used to the reality of this. This would be excellent to crossover with other kinds of training; this would also be a great chance for Medical folks and outside fighter folks to work on basic cover for each other and working under high stress. Very likely this would include running simulations in the sensoriums, and again, would hardly be medic exclusive -- it'd be counterproductive to be so -- but a good launching point for characters to start directly preparing to work on keeping each other alive when at war.

Also an excellent opportunity for people to get used to the idea of being on smaller spacecraft as active medics during battles and responding to and learning the hows and whys of space-fighting and what they may encounter during the course of such battles.

Massage Club:

Sakura'll also be talking with Dr. Henderson about this, and will get the go ahead with a policy of "no happy endings" only far more professionally phrased. Questions on this:

Who wants to join? What level of training or knowledge of anatomy do these characters have? Last I recall off the top of my head was somehting like Yuna, Ronnae, Cagalli(?), and Morgan -- was Nima also interested?

Anyone is of course invited, and the idea is to introduce and instruct people in a variety of ways, starting with learning anatomy for all species on ship (start with human, work outward) and then practicing on willing subjects before ultimately having a resource for both relaxation and also rehabilitation and physical therapy as needed.

Sakura would start this out with a message on the Omnicomms as well as asking around Medical after getting Sam's essential blessing.

Possible Other Things:

Would anyone be interested in seeing species and/or sex specific hygiene and basic physical/health maintenance seminars? What do I even mean? Basically things like, "ways to brush your teeth using what we have available and yes we do have this one thing but here are others" or "options for handling that time of the maybe-month hard to tell around here" or "what bathrooms are available and where" or "basic supplies we can provide for you upon request" and things along that line.

It's be free form as in characters could ask whatever they wanted, and likely broken into groups aimed at male/female/lolonlymemberofmyspecies, and also be meant to try to help characters feel out things they want/need to know, but maybe have either refrained from asking or weren't sure how to go about learning this information.

Any general ideas of things you'd like to see going on in Medical Bay?

I've heard talk of perhaps getting uniforms worked out for when active on duty, working out some kind of buddy system, and so what else is on anyone's minds? Questions, comments, things you'd be interested in seeing, doing, or participating in in the future?

A while back Daimon asked to see some a doctor with experience with magic. Blue is willing to have Miranda do a secondary exam/help out for Daimon as long as there's another doctor doing the actual exam. So basically I need someone who plays a doctor and wants to play out a thread with Daimon. Also he needs to be assured that it's totally confidential. The results basically show that Daimon is dying for no physical reason they can discern. If that character would report this to somebody please let me know so I can ask the players of those characters if they would tell others since I want to keep this under wraps for a bit longer ICly.

Also I'd like to RP out Kerrigan getting a physical. She hates doctors and her biology has the potential to be very, very weird since she was formerly infested by the zerg. So science people may want to examine her as well. Which she'll also hate. I thought it'd make for an interesting log if anyone is interested.
