Hey there! Kiyuu here, with a brief slowatus notice.

I'll be leaving super early tomorrow morning for an almost-end-of-summer vacation upstate to Buffalo, and I'll be gone all weekend! GOOD NEWS is that I'll be bringing my laptop with me, and the people we'll be staying with have WiFi. So unless we'll be away all day all weekend, I should be able to get some tags in at some point! If I can't... well. It's only three days, so I'll try to start backtagging stuff when I get home.

So yes! This applies to Mami(magicgunworks), Fate(thunder_ace), and Vanille(eternitysmiles), the latter two being handwaved to fighting in the background, if that's cool.

EDIT: As there is a now a global threat in Stage 3 to serve the purpose this plot was intended to address, I'll let it do so. Thank you to those of you who offered your assistance with this.

A few of us would like to have a scene in which a substantial Ohm attack comes down on the planetside Medical tents, forcing a concerted defense of the many, many injured and wounded civilians and characters there. I'd like to make this the Ultimate Final Battle of the ground combat for people not involved in phase 3, in which all the stops get pulled, all the ultimate techniques get brought out, all the moments of awesome happen, etc. The climax, the grand finale, the final ten minutes of the movie for everyone who's not slated to be in the stage 3 endgame!

This scene will, therefore, be open to everyone groundside who wants in, if we can make it happen. This includes people who were injured but could theoretically act if not for pain, injury, or lack of energy -- there will be an ongoing effect during the fight that will help invigorate and heal.

We need volunteers to run the Ohm for this thread, as well as a general idea of how many people will show and what awesome will be brought, so we can have an encounter that is challenging!

Wounds will go up to 10 on the injury scale. Your character can get seriously screwed up here. This is a Serious Battle. On the other hand, your character can do some serious face-melting here. Fair is fair.

Fighting will be first-come-first serve. There will be no tag order, to keep the fight flowing, frantic, furious, and moving because I hope this is large and has lots of participation. You're trusted to provide as much justification as you want as to why your character didn't react to something he or she might otherwise have -- reason number 0 is that it's a giant battle and they can't be everywhere or do everything! However, this does not mean you'll miss out on your chance. If you have something massive or awesome you want to do, give the gist and the NPCers will find a way to make it happen.
