Okay everyone - starting on the 12th the crew are all going on Shore Leave! Basically, Stacy has decided that it's time for another shore leave, and is giving the crew a week at Happy Happy Fun World; an amusement part that takes up an entire planet. And it comes with all the stuff you expect from amusement parks: ridiculously expensive food, overpriced merchandising, store employees walking around in character suits, parades, and fireworks.

So, this is how this is going to work: like many amusement parks, Happy Happy Fun World is divided into 'Lands', that each have some kind of theme. Like how you have Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, with the themes of...well, fantasy stuff and futuristic stuff. But, I won't be setting up the Lands - basically, the idea is that everyone is able to set up whatever Lands they want. So if you want to have something like Steampunkland, you just go and set up a log that describes Steampunkland. Happy Happy Fun World is an entire planet, so there's room for as many lands as people want, and there's not really any kind of limitation on what kinds of themes the Lands have. It's pretty much a case of everyone describing setting as they go along, but if you're not so good at that you can always just tag into a Land that someone else has set up already. You're also allowed to borrow from real amusement parks and rides.

Anyways! To help people prepare, here is a plotting post! Feel free to toss around ideas for Lands, character interactions, and mini plots here, or just ask questions. (There's also a short list of Land suggestions here, if you want to claim one of them. But you're definitely not limited to just those!)

Mission Lineup and Briefing:

The team will proceed to Circle-Xine city to speak to the king and in an act of goodwill, help with the current plague problem. (Establishing CR post Saturday to Sunday)

During this time, one or two party members can become sick and use the last of the Last Elixir to get better. (Sunday to Monday)

The team journeys through to the desert of despair to the Temple of the Demon. (Monday through Friday CR. Feel free to make as many posts as you want in this storyline. IC component of 1 day.)

Boss fight on Saturday. Bring what you need to survive. (Battle lineup is confirmed on the 15th of this month. Please plan appropriately and post the time when you are available to this post so that a time schedule can be done up properly. Please refer to previous post on this for the battle guidelines. Shaun will be your GM for this battle.)

Return post on the following Sunday. IC component should only take 3 days. In which you may continue backtagging if need be. You are also allowed to post in Shore Leave since we'll be picked up and delivered to the amusement park shortly afterwards.

( TL;DR aside... )

I'm going to be taking an indefinite hiatus from Trans9. I expect to be back once we hire on a new manager that can start taking some of my hours, but as I don't know when the hell that'll be I'm not going to post any expected return date.
