As of this post in most recent Open Council post, Bight has voluntarily stepped down from his position as councilor as a reconciliatory action to show his good will to the crew. His step down brings the council down to five members remaining.

While he has stepped down from the council he has not stepped entirely out of council matters. With the approval of the council he has taken on a new position, that of an advisor to the council so that he may continue to use his knowledge to the benefit of Council and crew.
