TransPilgrims (TransMigration9: OOC)
March 12th, 2012
Greetings, meatship - Wingus here (Shoutarou, Simon, Veronica), with character number four: Lina Inverse, of Slayers! She's short of stature, short of temper, and very prone to overreacting violently if you manage to press one of her many, many berserk buttons - often by blasting you with a spell or few. And so, if there's anyone who wants to opt out of her magical wrath and instead just get verbal wrath, I do have a permissions post for that.

For those familiar with the canon, she's coming in from just after the third season, and will be very displeased to find out all that work she's done over those adventures will have amounted to a fat lot of nothing.

That said, any volunteers among the current crew who want to get shaken down by Lina when the meet'n'greet happens? She will want to know just what the hell is going on. Or she might yell at Stacy if I can wrangle someone for that.

I know I've been slow lately, and been intending to fix that, buuuut kind of hit a snag in that I'm doing some prep for MidSouthCon, which is next weekend. Said prep is doing art commissions so I can pay my way there and back. So if you need some icons or something drawn, hey, I'm your man.

So just for safeness, gonna say this'll last until the 26th. Affects Shoutarou, Veronica, Simon, and Lina.

03:37 pm - Marco Polo!
Hey everyone!

So in order to give the soon-to-be rebels more room to work with, Allenby is going to be trying to find more blind spots so conspirators can talk about things without Stacy overhearing. To accomplish this, she will basically be running around the City, playing Marco Polo with the ship. She'll be quite happy to have help in this endeavor. Or you can get on her case about it. Or you can hear about it from someone else and form your own groups to go hunting for Stacy-blind locations. I'll be putting up a log in the next few days, and it'll be kind of a freeform thing.

There are some blind spots that are currently known to the mods--I'm not sure how well-known they are ICly, but this would be a good time for chracters to share that info with each other or discover it for the first time!

Current Blind Spots:
- Susono Inn
- Warehouse
- Atori Tea House
- Kang's Place
- Animorphs' house

And, you can suggest new blind spots! If you have ideas for any, pipe up--these will all be made into an official list. (Allenby will be discovering that the Temple of Small Gods is one to start with.) You don't have to sign up here to jump into the log, but you do need to say so here if you want to find a new blind spot.

ETA: We have some good suggestions so far, which I have listed below! But some general locations would be spiffy too, where crewmembers could go without having to be invited (or breaking and entering into someone else's home). Also, most of the home locations are probably things your characters would discover independently, since Allenby will be looking for more accessible/general places where people can gather and work on plans or projects.

Proposed list! )
soulinherfists: workin' on gadgetry (Lemme install this proprietary tech)

For a good while we’ve had an organised space force yet no sign of a dedicated and/or organised military infantry/ground force.

Time to rectify that!

Thus I bring to you the possibility of the Special Operations task force to act as a dedicated military force capable of taking on missions of a vast variety of sorts. Be it ground battles, boarding actions, night raids and reconnaissance missions, the Task force will be up for the job.
