Oh goodness. Hello, masses of people! I am Cheeta, playing as my OC character 'Aeneas'. Can't believe I managed to get him accepted a day before podpop! I also can't believe I managed to find the "post" button on this site so quickly--normally it takes me at least fifteen minutes (it only took me five minutes this time. :3 I am so proud! *sniff* ).

Anywho, so while I've been roleplaying and otherwise writing stories and developing characters for the better part of six (nearly seven) years, this has all been done in Word documents and Proboards; therefore, Livejournal will continue to absolutely confound and amaze me for the simplest reasons for at least another month and a half before I finally get my bearings. Until then, please humor me. I will try my best not to cause too many keyboard-shaped bruises upon others' foreheads while I am here, but it'll be difficult. :3;;

If anyone but my canonmates even remembers, I was supposed intro Saito from Ghost in the Shell: SAC here for the November podpop. What actually happened is that I got about three different plagues at once and when the fever broke it was like the 5th and there were ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE and WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON so I went to Zita and begged to just put off intro'ing until December.

So. For real this time.

I'm Kuruma (yes I know it means car. it is a dumb story but I will tell you if you want) and my AIM is time held me. Hi! o/

OKAY. So, this is going to be one of three plotting posts. (Each plot will get its own post just to make things easier).

The mods need some brainstorming action going on.

The next few things on the Trans9 Menu are:

In December

1. December Podpop. This one will have a whole farking load of DC characters and about half the Justice League, so we thought we'd make a little plot of maybe arranging some really bad situation for them to barge into heroically.

2. The Meatship Saves Christmas. There will be a post for plotting on that after this. (HERE)


In January

3. January Podpop. The next Older Player Podpop.

4. At the Mountains of Madness. Ditto on another post for plotting. (HERE)


In February (Probably)

5. First shore leave/encounter with the Ohm. Funtimes.


After that

6. First Mission. Then missions, missions, missions.

Now, this post is for brainstorming about the podpop. How can we make this podpop whacky-crazy and have it go horribly wrong in the most comedic way possible? Ideas offered were to have Lex Luthor be the first person the group sees, but there's more we could do.

Just to add: ANYONE from this podpop can join in with the heroic barging. It's just with half the Justice League showing up in an abduction situation, we figured they'd probably all barge like crazy, and fly into it what they think is a fight--and we wanted to have it so they do that and there is no fight, for the sake of comedy.

This plot is exactly what it says on the tin. The Meatcrew is sent on a mission to a cyberpunk-ish future where Corporate Toy Executives rule the world, and people no longer believe in the true Spirit of the Holiday Season, meaning the Holiday Spirit (known to some as Old Saint Nick) is languishing in a magical coma from a lack of belief. To revive him, the meatcrew will borrow his sleigh and toys (and some Christmas-themed flying cars) and go around the world spreading joy and good cheer, doing good deeds, and rekindling the spirit of the holiday season. (That includes Hanukkah and Kwanzaa too!)

At the end, as Santa starts to revive, one group will have to help the elves defend him from the Corporate Toy Executives' Strike Team.

So, do folks have any ideas for that? For specific little mini-events in the plot, and what they'd like their character to do? We also need suggestions of the most hilarious people on the crew to have to wear the Santa costumes of each group.

P.S. Magical mistletoe on the ship? y/y?

This is a plot that will be a dark turn after the holiday festivities. People will start to have their dreams invaded by nightmare creatures, and soon, will even start to suffer the injuries they do in their dreams in the waking world.

Eventually, the plot will reach its climax, as the Nightmare King will start to break free of his stone prison in Escherville.

The Seer will lead one small group of telepaths, exorcists, monster fighters, and other supernatural and horror-themed people into the center of the storm to cast the being in the stone out as it starts to manifest. They'll be facing night-gaunts, tentacle monsters, weeping angels, and other horrible twisted creatures from beyond the dawnna time on the way.

The rest of the people will have to face their nightmares and worst fears becoming real, and have to help save each other from these ghastly visions or they could die or go insane in them.

Plot away! Start thinking of kinks and problems to complicate stuff, ways someone's particular nightmare could break lose and attack everyone and so on!

Ok, the hospital will have wireless, but probably going to be groggy at times. I'm going in for surgery tomorrow morning and will be there for a couple of days. Hoping to catch up with the newly podpopped and threads when I'm feeling better.

So I forgot to do this and Saphie was telling me stuff and it reminded me that I need to do this. :D

Anyway, the name is Cliff. Or you can call me Zell. Either name works. I'm also new to the RP. And I will be bringing who's considered to be the Greatest Green Lantern of them all, Hal Jordan. And I will be stealing the way Tirc did this just because I can!

I am always so terrible with introductions, but my name is Pixle and I shall be playing Gandrayda from Metroid Prime 3. I believe this makes us the biggest Metroid cast of any game (quick someone else get more bounty hunters in here).
