Hey folks!

Since we hadn't gotten around to it when it was originally suggested several months ago, and this recent post shows that people are still interested in the idea, we have decided to finally implement...

 

THE WEEKLY CHARACTER ACTIVITY POST!

Basically, here's how it will work. Every week on Sunday, we will put up a post like this one here, with the "!character activity" tag. Everyone can tag in, listing all the things they want to handwave their characters doing between the current activity post and the next one. In addition, a link will be added to the sidebars of both the main comm and the OOC comm that will link to the !character activity tag, where obviously the most recent character activity post will be available at the top.

So, go ahead and give it a go! Depending on how well this works, some adjustments may be made, but we'll figure things out as we go.

Sadly, this is a DROP POST! I have too many characters on my plate right now, and a few of them I'm just not playing enough to justify keeping right now, so I'm dropping Mulan sent_herself and Biff buddyofchrist. They will drop by the crack comm occasionally.

And this ISN'T a drop, but I'm GLaDos-ing Will Vandom for a while. I haven't been doing her justice as far as activity is concerned and the W.I.T.C.H. cast is too awesome for me to justify playing her as little as I am, so I'm taking some time to work on getting the voice back so that I can give you guys the Will you deserve.

Additionally, consider this a semi-hiatus post because I AM MOVING AND STARTING A NEW JOB OMIGOD YAY. On Wednesday the 14th, I'm starting my drive from Florida to the midwest, which will obviously take a while, and then there's getting a place to live and new job starting, so I will be scarcer than usual for about two, three weeks.

So that leaves Zuko, Allen, and Goliath all still in action, at least until Wednesday, when the lines might go down for a while on account of Life Changing Events, so, wish me luck, and I'll see you in between then! <3

I'm new around these parts :>. They call me biodisaster, and I like Warcraft. A lot. I was enabled over here by a certain manly man you may be familiar with and noticed a distinct lack of zombie elves in this here meatship (on top of the fact that there is also a distinct lack of Horde-types). So I'm fixing that.

This is Seviilia Brightwing. She's an undead elf. A very angry undead elf (OC, of course) from the series -- you guessed it, World of Warcraft.

Her app is in her journal if you are curious to know more about her. ♥ I will gladly explain anything canon-related to anyone who isn't already familiar. :3

This is Kit, with her fourth character, Dana Scully, M.D., FBI, from television series The X-Files.  She's coming from mid-to-end of Season Three after the Season 5 episode The Post-Modern Prometheus.  (After some discussion with Milo, who is bringing Fox Mulder, we decided to change the canon departure point.)  I'm still doing yet another rewatch, which I can say I'm loving all over again.  Oh God, this was my childhood.  I guess that explains why I'm the way I am.  My formative years were spent behind the couch catching reruns my parents wouldn't let me see.  I was such a rebel.

Ice was the very first episode I caught as a kid.  And it freaked me the hell out.  I still can't watch it without someone in the room.  Clearly, I've been a fan since that moment of OMGWTFBBQTHEREISSOMETHINGMOVINGINTHATDOG'SSKINOMGGETITOUT.  Scully's been my favorite canon character pretty much ever and right next to Luke Skywalker. 

I'm absolutely thrilled to be bringing her to you guys.

Hey, meatship! It's been a while! Some of you might remember me and several probably don't, but I'm Kes and I used to play the other Brainiac 5 (aka Deadbot), Ahava, and Jamie Madrox. School stuff happened and I took a break for a bit, but I'm back and tentatively jumping back in with a new character (and considering the possibility of bringing back one or two old ones).

So I'm bringing in a madman with a box a bowtie-wearing alien the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor! He's post season 5, so he's just done saving all of space and time. Again. So clearly the next step is to help out with saving the multiverse. I'm going to try and be a spoiler-free as possible with him, since there might be people still watching the season or just not wanting massive spoilers all over the place, but if people want to leave me a note to be extra careful while threading with them, feel free to do so here or in his HMD post.

Looking forward to catching up with everything and playing with you all again next podpop!
